I'm not surprised. In the 1950's there was a time many areas in the Los Angeles and Fernando valley basins where homes and businesses were being built up. The water mains in the areas built are now more than 50 to 71yrs old. Of course they are eventually going to fail. Infrastructure from those times will continue to fail, and the local government will continue to table the adgenda of Infrastructure repair at the end of the planning, thinking to save money. Good luck with that. Atlanta, GA is currently reeling with a slue of water main breaks, and those areas are usually the less affluent areas. Add on the recent floods from hurricane Helene didnt help either.
Fail to plan is planning to fail. Great job Long Beach
