I know this is my home track I went to every indycar race at Kansas from 2001-2010 and been to every Indy 500 since 2002 Kansas needs to come back and several others Michigan and Fontana
The 2008 RoadRunner Turbo Indy 300 at Kansas Speedway was the first IRL Race following the Champ Car Finale at Long Beach. This race was aired live on Net 25 on April 28, 2008 with Rick Benjamin (Lap-by-Lap) and David Hobbs (Color Commentator) as Commentators together with Bonnie Bernstein, Ralph Sheheen, Cameron Steele, Tracy Wolfson, and Bill Stephens as Pit Reporters
I hope Indycar goes back to a pullrod front suspension in 2021 when the rules allow for an entirely new design. I love the look of the MP4/4, MP4/5, and the Minardi PS0, all have a pullrod front suspension setup and a lower nose/front end compared to other f1 cars.
With the exception of Indy and Gateway, attendance at ovals has been rather dreadful for many years. Not sure not sure why IndyCar would keep beating a dead horse by adding another oval.
Wow what was Roth doing in the pit lane?! Spun and took out the other teams mechanic. Then he tries to go back and turn. Goes right up the mechanics butt again, not allowing him space to even change the tyre. So then the other team that got hit decide to help him wheel back out to turn properly. What does he do... runs over the other teams mechanics foot because for the third time he tries to turn too early. How is this guy even allowed to hold a driving license, let alone race in Indycars. He was lucky all he got was a shove to the helmet by the mechanic. Should have been disqualified on the spot, then banned from ever racing in Indy.
Because at this point the series was in such a sorry state after The Split that if you had a lot of money and wanted to play racer (like Marty Roth), you could do that. Once Reunification happened this year, those racers died off quick.
Look at the crowds when Indycar raced on the 1.5 mile ovals. Bring them back !!
I think the reason they stopped was because of Dan Wheldon’s death at LV
@@exendary8366 they stopped because the crowds stopped coming, along with ISC not wanting to promote IC races anymore.
RIP DW and JW. Miss this era of Indycar and all these ovals. I miss this car chassis also believe it or not. 🤙🏎️🏁🇺🇸
Love watching these old races!!
Bring back KANSAS. Honestly, Indycar needs more super-speedway ovals
Timi Akinlonu Kansas isnt a super speedway, and there isnt any other super speedways indy can race at other than michigan and fontana
Ok. Tho I am new to indycar so i don't really know much
Indycar really needs more ovals. At least half of the races should be on ovals.
I know this is my home track I went to every indycar race at Kansas from 2001-2010 and been to every Indy 500 since 2002 Kansas needs to come back and several others Michigan and Fontana
Kansas is considered an intermediate
Dang i miss these car's the sound

Hop in the car. We’re gonna go find out who asked.
Please bring back more ovals. Road courses are just a game of follow the leader on the track
jordan 4802 you haven't been watching Indycar much in the last few years have you?
Another great race i just finished watching! Ganassi domination the whole race
Que bellas tomas de las pistas !
That Will Power crash was weird. It looked like he lost the front end, not the back end. Like all of the sudden he had a boat load of oversteer.
Thumbs up for U2's Bad!
Joinha por Bad do U2!
Start 10:45
mauricio andrade 1:40:27 Finish
People like you who put the start times in the comments are heroes.

Ferrari had pullrod suspension in 2012, and 2015 and a few other years I think.

One of those races 2 of my guys finish 1-2. :D
Its a shame that there are not more oval races.
Indy does not need places whithout strong attendance only because are ovals.
25:38 Gold :D
She should still race in Indy500
JPM raced until 50

billy mc because it’s exiting racing
@@PoleBear5 They could add the Charlotte Roval
28:05 what did he sayyyy?
will Power he is okay!
not a single mention of the merger of champcar. very sad indeed.
They mentioned it during the first race of the season and I believe a few more after that. At that point in the season, they were getting settled in.
They literally talked about the champ car finale if you were listening
it wasn't a necessary to talk much about the merger anymore, considering champ car should of have died after 2003.
Dan Wheldon
Evan Abernathy hurts. It really does
