Been working at getting Zerkers and I'm on the last stage for unlocking. ^.^ Cannot wait to apply what I've learned in this video while in combat. I've messed around with them a bit from the contracts and have seen how powerful they can be, even while playing them not 100% correctly. I've also seen how squishy they can be when played completely wrong, LOL. Thank you again!

in old Norse, "Berserker" ment Champion. Not shield chewing suicidal shock troops. They also carried shields. Hence the legend of them chewing on the rawhide band around the edge of their shields. In game, their small unit size is actually an advantage for flanking in Sieges. Because of the pathing in close quarters, larger units tend to get hung up, and can take a while to Muster. For example, Men at Arms you have to gather up, then send them Charging in to attack that Testudo from the rear. Berserkers you can just send charging in, because they tend to keep up with your hero (Unless you use haste, unless you use the LS&S haste, which can be shared with your 8 Berserkers) So, you're more likely to land that crucial rear attack in the short window of opportunity, before the Hero sees you coming.
I actually didn't know how important the 2 ability was, thanks. I'm still abit unsure as to how frequently I need to use it though, like I noticed the fire but idk thanks for making me aware of this thing called battle madness
Technically the zerkers will build BM stacks just by attacking normally, but using Berserker Assault (Spin-to-Win) will give 4 stacks right away. So it's really nice to get them up to that 50% damage resist quickly.

I followed your sons of feriris guide and i know they are fucking insane i played them correctly i remember i killed around 100 range units as heroes were busy fighting point A lol i sneaked from broken wall and kill them untill heroes come i called them back.

I've heard from others that you can't get the bonus doctines once the season is over, but I've also been told that you can always acquire them. I suppose for now, assume you can't, and throw on another doctrine to fill that space. If I do any more units guides (which I'm not sure right now depending how the current issue goes), I'll make sure to include a statement on the bonus doctrines, as you are certainly not the first person to ask. I have to disagree on the life doctrine. Those are diminishing returns, the more base HP unit has the worse life doctrine is. It is way better to put a piercing defence doctrine
I actually have now put on the blue shield doctrine from the Shieldmaidens, giving 50 to each defense. Very worth it to get some kind of defense on them for sure!

I'd imagine because it's somewhat hard to record a video about the map when there isn't any freeroam. You'd have to record during battle haha.

they do less damage against heroes and their rage bar does not fill anymore when attacking heroes

Unfortunately you cannot, it is a season exclusive doctrine. It's bad game design, but that's how it is.

@@gwynion4350 That particular doctrine, yes. Berserkers as still quite good without it, and you can use another doctrine in it's place.
how do you get the assualt doctrine you have on your beserkers?
I believe it's the 2nd to last unit challenge, the page after you unlock the unit permanently.

why the game looks so smooth at you? you get more than 60 fps cap?
I get 60fps, I only have a 60hz monitor so that's the most it could be anyways. I do have a 1080TI so that helps keep it smooth.

Nothing is overpowered in a game where T5 cavalry exists...except for the T5 cavalry.
