    Elevated estradiol is not the problem. It's the temporary imbalance between testosterone and estradiol. The key is to fix the testosterone. If you leave the estrogen alone your body will find a balance/homeostasis between the two and you get to keep all of your sexual function without taking a non-selective aromatase inhibitor that will inhibit the PARACRINE/AUTOCRINE effects of estrogen where it is critically needed in the brain, bones, vascular system to maintain cognition/memory/mood, bone mineral density, endothelium, etc. How are you checking estradiol? In the blood? Why? That's not where testosterone is aromatized to estradiol. What information are you getting from that lab value? What you're seeing in the blood is whatever happens to be leaking out of tissue into the serum. It doesn't correlate in any known way to what's in the tissue. Estradiol is not an endocrine hormone in men who are on testosterone replacement. It's not made in one tissue and then travels through the blood to other tissue. It's made in the target tissue where it's needed. Leave the estrogen alone. Your body knows what to do with it and can manage it just fine without you chasing that "sweet spot" for the rest of your life. It may take a couple of months, but it will get there.

    • @thejdocrealminute4648
      @thejdocrealminute4648  ปีที่แล้ว

      Research shows: DIM is more stable than I3C and therefore more desirable. If I3C were stable, it would never form DIM or the myriad of other beneficial phytochemicals. I3C is inherently unstable in stomach acid which converts it to its multi-faceted products.

      Hot flashes and night sweats -- also known as vasomotor symptoms -- can happen while you're taking either tamoxifen or an aromatase inhibitor. Hot flashes and night sweats happen because of the effects these medicines have on estrogen. These side effects are more likely to happen if you're taking tamoxifen. AND --- because your body is repairing the muscle tissue -->this heats the body up. So, it is a YES-YES answer. Start taking DIM & eat a lot of cruciferous vegetables.
