If only he had not been hit by the poisoned arrow, he would have led his men in the upcoming charge, instead now he is forced to watch his daughter take his place against their foes beyond the walls. She rode confidently at the head of the group, her face focused and her red hair blowing slightly in the wind, a direct contrast in the white snow, an easy target. They looked up and saluted their beloved general, whose words are trapped in his throat. When she gave him her confident smile, his tears poured, hidden by his bandages, and with great regret, he saluted back. With a cry from his daughter, the gates groaned open and the drawbridge began its descent. The cavalry put on their helmets, purposefully polished just prior to this moment, knowing that this is their one and only chance to drive back the enemy so food can be rushed back into the city. The general sobbed when his daughter reared her horse and charged out with his personal entourage, close friends who protected him for many years roaring their battle cries, now sworn to be hers to command. Clambering up to the wall, he cursed as his vision is blurry from the poison, but he knows that, as always, she will be at the tip of the attack. Their cursed enemies were caught unawares and the damage dealt was devastating, their bodies thrown across the field like ragdolls as steel, muscle, and speed crushed through their defenses. With might and valor they tore through all resistance and forced their way through the siege, their movements confident and precise. There were no mistakes in their charge, no wasted movements, only pure dedication to end this as quickly as possible. Not gonna lie. This. This is what i call a true Heros theme. It has everything it needs. It has A calm and beautiful beginning, a perfect transition into an epic pre chorus and epic vocals leading towards the main piece of the track. It is truly epic and outstanding. Not gonna lie.
This. This is what i call a true Heros theme. It has everything it needs.
It has A calm and beautiful beginning, a perfect transition into an epic pre chorus and epic vocals leading towards the main piece of the track. It is truly epic and outstanding. The main piece to me says. "Don't give up follow your dreams wherever they go, cause wherever they go is where you're destined to be" followed by the slow part and electronic instruments transitioning into the next epic part is just what I want for every hero based theme

As the sun rose she stood there the wind in her hair glowing like a ember waiting to spark a fire, as she stood there with her army she was calm when she stood above the battle field soaked in blood. As she shouted charge hope was reignited into a flame of fury spreading like wild fire across the field they knew at once that the hero was back.

What is it about these “Epics” that make you feel absolutely anything is possible. It seems to stir something in the soul. Would really love to see this piece played “live” with the orchestra, now that would be something amazing.
Epic Music World: This would have been great to hear in Dragon Age: Inquisition after the Inquisitor's fight against Corypheous, or during the the fight against him. That's how great the song is.
I love this piece, it reminds me of cavalry gaining speed before they charge and punch through the enemy lines!
