I learned how to swim in the Clay Hole in the early sixties and swam there up until the seventies when we moved to Champlin where I was introduced to the Mill Pond. I have wonderful memories of both locations, but Clay Hole holds a special place in my heart as a child. I never knew anything about the Clay Holes history, thank you.

Well if people insist on changing the town's name, I'd say "Clay Hole" is an okay idea.
We have some of those bricks, with the logo on them...our children swam there when they had lifeguards...
