On to a new project! Finally starting the 6 speed manual swap in the G8 GT.

Glad to have another swap video on here, I’m picking up a Nissan CD009 tomorrow and ordering an adapter kit because the 6060s/T56 are so expensive. Mostly worried about tuning. How did you tune yours?

I agree they are super expensive! My tuning was done mostly before the swap. So far I have just toggles it from an auto to a manual through ho tuners

Awesome dude. You got my attention lol. Did you source all your parts from a 2010s camaro?

Sadly the brake pedal was the only thing from a Camaro that I sourced which in the next video you’ll see has the wrong pedal height. All of the parts were for a Chevy SS.

Even the trans was from an SS? I just had an almost score of a whole GXP swap (harness /driveshaft / Pedal trim ring etc) come to find out someone stole the trans from his shop. It may still happen but doubtful. But I did score a TVS 2300 from him for super cheap 😊
What are you doing for a driveshaft? Subbed. Great video.

Yep the transmission is from an SS as well. The driveshaft I will talk about more in the next video. It is the original one that’s been shortened

I watched doomed garage, g8 autox and some others and it seems like the driveshaft is the hurdle of hurdles. Looking fwd to your vids thanks
