    I don't know how it's possible, but Kyle Snyder's collegiate career is underrated as hell. Three titles and a second place. Beat maybe the best heavyweight in recent years aside from him in this match. If you combine his folkstyle and freestyle accomplishments, I don't know who has the credentials to match him.

    Greatest NCAA heavyweight final in the last 20 years. This is the first time I watched college wrestling, was the 2016 finals, and I was instantly blown away by the skill and size of college wrestlers

    I love how Kyle says Nick is fun to wrestle, even though Nick gave him nothing in that match. That’s a guy that enjoys what he does

      “Gave him nothing” match was close as fuck

    • @ianshue2890
      @ianshue2890 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@keyboard2758 when I say give him nothing, I meant he wasn’t giving him anything easy. Nick never gave Snyder anything to work with, so Snyder just had to work and grind for his points. Snyder didn’t get a takedown until the last moments of the match, and even then Nick nearly got up when he did take him down. The reason Snyder won is because he adapted, he set up his shots better and went with ankle picks more than straight shots, but he still struggled to take him down. No matter how you look at it, both men are absolute beasts on the mat

    Looked like Nick was gassing out by the way he lost his balance and fell that one time. Perhaps fitness helped contribute to the victory for Kyle.
