I have a sneaking suspicion they're probably told what songs they can perform by any given band. I like the fact that the judges were 'shook.' C'mon these are songs we've (the general public) have been hearing for the last 30+ years.😆

Where's the For Whom The Bells Toll, Master of Puppets, Harvester of Sorrow, Fade To Black, One, Until It Sleeps, Unforgiven 2, Unforgiven 3, My Friend of Misery, Four Horseman or Anesthesia?
The real issue is that how do you do most of their stuff? The average "classic" Metallica song is over 7 minutes long, you'd almost have to completely gut the song to make it fit into the audition time limit and it would be complete garbage.

Nothing else matters is one of my Metallica favourite songs. It was our wedding song cause my husband never dances and with this song he only have to turn around slowly 😂. The second singer made it his own song and it was wonderful 💖💖💖. The first woman sang it with much power and it was great 🔥🤘💞 The unforgiven was awesome too 💖💖💖. The asian singer was funny I don't know he made me smile and I thought this is a guy you wanna party with 😜👍🤘 The woman in the black leather dress had much power sometimes she was a bit over but it was good entertainment 🤘🤘🔥🤘🤘 The tattood guy was like slapstick or a bad manga 😎 In the beginning it wasn't clear what he was singing...😂😂😂
I respect the first guy for getting up there and trying because I don't have any vocal talent whatsoever but he just doesn't sound very good, almost like he's trying too hard to sound rough and tough. Second guy just doesn't have the metal voice to do the song he did justice. Trying to rework Nothing Else Matters into a piano ballad just didn't work. Third guy doing Enter Sandman sounds like the drunks at karaoke night. The woman doing Nothing Else Matters sounds great but trying to sound like Christina Aguilera while singing it isn't the best idea.
I love that Kira did something so different but yet so iconically her style she was great that season andon is a vibe I would love to grab a drink with him for sure Yahych is a bad bitch with more depth to her voice then most of the men in this video yet still somehow has clarity oleksandr looks nothing like his voice sounds which is the point of the show overall great video
