I use a meter a lot too. I try to get the images as close to perfect as I can in camera. That comes from starting photography about 1953 in film days. By the time I was 16 I used manual settings almost exclusively because in camera metering wasn't very good.
I'm sold; I need a light meter. I've used the one at school, but rarely - though we are tested on it. I don't know what trade shows are, I'll have to look into that, too. Love Monica's photography, and how she views it. Learned a lot from this show! It would be neat to go and sit in the audience if I ever get to New York. I like the question at the end, as I was sure she printed her own work. In my limited experience, I can't find a lab that prints how I see it. And I've tried to match it up...my next hope to get that right is to print myself.
Thank you everyone for watching. Feel free to leave comments for Monica to see!
Thank you for bringing 2:12 back Monica, and Thank you Sony

I arrived late, so this is a comment from the future. Monica was valuable to many viewers, I'm sure. --BAK--
