Cover the potato with olive oil and sprinkle salt (you can either put the hole in now or put it in after) 3. Put the potato in the oven for 20-22 minutes (not fully cooked and if you havent already put the hole do it after the time that is has been in) 4. Put the crab and cilantro inside the hole and bake for another 10 minutes And bam Projekt Melody Special
I admire Jeannie's patience and resolve throughout that whole process. As a culinary school graduate, I was dying inside every time Melody made a guess. But she's too cute and wholesome so it's ok. If I took a shot every time Melody said something stupid (by cooking standards), I would’ve died of alcohol poisoning a quarter of the way into the video.

I’m actually taking a break right now to pursue a higher degree in food business management. Being a chef only sucks if you don’t have a passion for it. The hours are long, the work is hard, and the pay isn’t the best. You have to love doing this type of thing in order to make a successful living out of it. I love cooking and my dream is to one day be the chef and owner of my own restaurant, so I don’t plan on getting sick of it any time soon.

If Melody understood cooking this honestly sounds pretty good. De-scale and de-bone the salmon, crispy lemon-flavored batter not charred, properly baked potato stuffed with crab and a thin layer of cilantro, and sweet chocolate cookies with a small bit of spring onions sliced and diced on top. Genuinely might try and make this with my mom just for the hell of it and see if we could pull it off cause it sounds fun.

Idk about the maple syrup either. Feel like generally fish works better with something sour ( which is why balsamic vinegar is bomb for it)

Honestly I think the potato would IMMENSELY overwhelm the crab, I generally only like using potato to kinda thin out and spread the flavor of stong tasting things like curry or other sauces, it makes it more filling and last longer while making it so the flavor isn't so intense that your tastebuds get tired of it immediately. Now, a crab sauce with some potato, maybe like a loaded baked potato covered in crab sauce, that sounds damn good. And now despite being full I am hungry.
