    So I did a collaboration with Kanella Ciraco a few months back and I saw ATD doing a resin dutch pour and thought, what a perfect way to test my new KS resin pigments! The link for a discount is listed below as well. You do not need much pigment paste at all for these pours.
    I love KS resin. It is FDA food safe, heat resistant up to 475 degrees F, work time is 30 to 45 min and cures in 7 days! Zero VOC and low odor.

    Another beauty. Just a hint from a long-time resinista. Always hold back a little bit of clear resin. It’s so handy to have it for adding a color or making more of the same color should you run out before you want. I like to drop some clear onto a color for a neat reaction. If you don’t need it, make a drip of clear or color resin on a sheet of plastic or parchment paper. Peel them and use as decorations or vase filler. Of course, molds for pendants is hood too. 😉. Love your videos. 😁

    I heard you talking the other day about you using KSResin. I decided to give it a try, since it was time had to buy more resin. I want to tell you I absolutely love this resin. Sunday I did 5 painting the and 6 more on Monday. This resin was totally awesome. They came out absolutely perfect looking. I live in west central Florida and watch you all the time. So thank you again for the recommendation on KSResin.

    Molly, so awesome. I have a love /hate relationship with resin but I may try this. I have used Enviro Lite I believe. It's good stuff. No smell at all. It just that I get some bubbles and divets. Just learned from you about the heat making those. I thought I didn't get all the silicone off, if I used it. Haven't used silicone in a long time. Love your beautiful Sunflower.

    • @MOLLYSARTISTRY
      @MOLLYSARTISTRY  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Yes, the divots can be even from the oil from your fingers too. Envirotex light does not withstand high heat so just be careful if you use for coasters. As well, I got way more divots with envirotex than with stone coat or ks resin. But that is what i started out with too! Great economical value.

    • @littlefeather9709
      @littlefeather9709 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MOLLYSARTISTRY Thank for your reply. I don't do coasters yet. Having to much fun with pouring. Also learning alcohol inks. I'm going to try a resin pour this week to see what happens.. I'll use up my resin and try KS. Have a great day.

    • @MOLLYSARTISTRY
      @MOLLYSARTISTRY  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All resins that I have found this far yellow eventually in direct sunlight, but it depends on the company and how much uv protection they put in. I have not done a specific direct sunlight text, but I do not like envirotex lite or promarine, both if those have yellowed fast on me. I love the ks resin, but I have used it long enough to speak to the uv protection, but the company has the data!
