Thank you so much for the comment. I decided to make these videos with my son in mind (he should be starting to play in a couple of years) and explain the songs in that way. If these lessons inspire and help beginners to play, that would be great. Thanks again 😎
I really enjoy your style of teaching. I found your channel a few weeks ago when I was looking for a Shadows of the Night lesson. There isn’t a whole lot of representation for some of these classic 80s tunes. I would love to see a lesson for Pat Benatar’s Hell is for Children, keep up the great work 🤘
Thank you so much for the comment, I really enjoy doing the lessons so it is great to know that they are helpful. Funny that you should mention Pat, I just worked up Hit Me With Your Best Shot for the next lesson. Hell is for Children is a great song as well, I might just work that one up for a future lesson. Thanks again :)
Thanks for the comment. This song is not too difficult, and I'll bet that you will be playing it very soon. Just start slow and play it over and over. All the best to you in your guitar journey, cheers 😎
This is great run I don’t have my guitar on my but I’m taking mental notes I’ll come back and use this as a reference. What’s that no delay and a ton of reverb?
I really appreciate the comments. The response to the lessons has been great and I'm happy that the videos are helpful. I was using a Boss Katana 100 Mk II amp with overdrive and chorus (on about 6 or 7), I have always kept the effects pretty simple over the years, even playing live.
Thank you! The strat is the American Ultra with the Tim Shaw Double Tap Humbucker, love it. You can split the humbucker to single coil with no loss of volume, pretty cool. Thanks for the comment 😎
Lol, so I had bought the Strat to put away for my kids, and really wanted to keep it mint with case candy, swag bag, everything. There has been a problem with that plan though, I can't put it down! I absolutely love that guitar 😎
These lessons are so hilarious. Sold as providing a quick outline of the song for a musician already in a band to add to their set list... but who doesn't know how to make a Bm barre chord or open E cowboy chord, needs clear instruction on when to 'chug' by dampening the strings at the bridge, and also how to arpeggiate. Put the beginner stuff in separate videos and refer to them for the beginner and don't waste everyone else's time. Also, is that a sticker on the pick guard?! 🤣
Good lesson, but I wish you wouldn't spend so much time describing basic chords - if someone doesn't know an E or D cowboy chord, they probably can't play this song. But it was a good lesson; that is my only "gripe."
Thanks for the feedback and point taken. I always tended to teach beginners over the years and I guess it is just a hard habit to break. I have received several comments like yours and going forward, the lessons will be on a more advanced level. Thanks for watching and the comment, cheers 😎
@@TC-GuitarThanks for taking my comment in the spirit intended. A good way I have seen other online teachers say (for an E chord) "open, 2, 2, 1, open, open" - quick and works for easy and hard chords. Players who can't get that really just need to learn some basic chords.
Thank you for presenting such an in-depth lesson, so that beginners can understand. Some kid may see this and embark on Guitar. Very good!

That is an interesting way of calling out the chords, I may just start using that method going forward. Thanks again@@mvp019
