I am just waiting for a trail update from them after the rain we had this week and warmer temps but hopefully it will still be decent with the cold weather we are having now.
I have be snowmobiler for over 40 years, leave the key in the sled, every thief knows you don't need them, so you aren't protecting anything by taking it out.
@HaliburtonTrailrider I am more concerned about about 50km from home, 2 ft if snow and missing key than theft. My friend had 3 snowmobiles, trailer and truck stolen from his driveway while he was inside waiting for the truck to heat. In Bethany! If they want it,they get it. Gun up.
FYI you don’t need your key. If you forget it again just reach under the hood and unplug the connector and the sled will pull start.
I prefer to have my key and tether instead of trying to steal my own sled lol
great camera angle
Thank you!!
Trying to talk my neighbor into going to Haliburton tomorrow

@@HaliburtonTrailrider This warm spell probably helped the lake ice. Freeze hard this weekend.

For me its piece of mind a bit I guess, and my tether is attached to the key too when its parked
