Best French toast has a few drops of vanilla flavoring, with a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg in the egg bath you soak the bread in. Adding maple syrup and butter is a must. I want to see them try a Baked Alaska, if for no other reason to see the reaction when its set on fire.

This is such an easy sweet idea they can duplicate. Realize they will have to use honey instead of hard to get, (if not impossible) maple syrup. I would think the ladies would like to make this for their kids, (big and little), as a quick easy breakfast. I would like to know if any of our guys here asked for the recipe, AND took it home and actually tried making french toast. Good vid as always.

My family growing up weren't really in a place financially to buy real maple syrup, so we used "maple flavored syrup" instead and it was pretty darned good on pancakes, waffles, and French toast. The real maple deal is pretty expensive and it was practically non existent in Kansas. I've had the maple flavored syrup, honey, and even "sorghum molasses" on pancakes, waffles, and French toast and they're all good. My aunt by marriage didn't use any syrup on French toast at all. Instead she put more sugar in the eggs before soaking the bread and then completely covered the French toast with powdered sugar (aka confectioners' sugar) shaken out of a very large shaker like a salt shaker only made specifically for putting powdered sugar on sweet foods. I bet that would make Chaudhary happy!
"Doctor Mode" LOL Love you guys. I like French toast (Americanized) with maple syrup and butter. Not very healthy, but you can also pile fruit on it, like sometimes I will cook bananas and berries and put that on top. With maple syrup :D
To think french toast is actualy from around europe an old way to make old bread fresh again and verry tasty in the proces. A little bit cinamon and sugar and perfect .
One of the earliest versions of french toast has been traced back to the Roman Empire. The name “french toast" was first used in 17th-century England. The recipe - and name - were brought to America by early settlers. In France, the dish is called “pain perdu," meaning “lost bread."
I am French and I can tell you that French toast is a very poor version of French toast. French toast is made with a few days old French bread. Real French bread does not keep fresh for very long and it becomes hard after a few days. "Pain perdu" (lost bread) as we call it is a way to cook the bread instead of throwing it out. We would have it as a dessert. It shouldn't be mushy but have a small amount of crunch. We quickly dip it in milk and then in beaten eggs. It is then fried in melted butter. It should be eaten right away. Some kind of syrup such as maple syrup, or jam will enhance its flavor. Bon appétit!
Right - like for bread puddings. I don’t think Americans typically use stale bread for what we think of as French Toast. It’s a ‘tamer’, softer version that often can be cut with only a fork. Thick, soft, eggy, sweet toasted bread slices. Im not sure it’s a ‘poor’ version, but it is certainly different from ‘lost bread’!
I love watching these guys. Chuadhary reminds me of a baby the way he screws his little face up when trying new foods (except when there's something sweet and delicious on offer!) Or somehow mix the tribal foods with the new. In America we like to take what new people bring to our country and try to come up with ways to incorporate them all together with foods we are familiar with. As new peoples have come into America over the many years, we try to accept not only cultures but the delicious food too.
My family are from north India but I’m 2nd generation born in the uk but these guys are definitely the same type of people you get in Punjab of India love these guys so wholesome
French toast is literally named "lost bread" in French. You make it to avoid letting dry / old bread go to waste by soaking it in milk, eggs, and whatever else you have for flavor (cinnamon, sugar, lemon, orange blossom) and then cooking it in butter. I think it would have been nice for them to know that because it sort of makes sense as to how this was even invented :) I've always found the American version to be too sweet, oily and soft, because it is made with fresh sliced bread instead of dry baguette and fried instead. But that's a personal opinion and I'm sure some recipes are super tasty. It's nice that foods are shared between countries and cooked in different styles everywhere.
My mother's French toast recipe... Beat 2 eggs 4 slices of wheat bread Dip bread into egg Fry in a little oil until golden brown Top with syrup. Enjoy.
I was wondering when they would get to try french toast! Quick and easy to make, and the ingredients (or something similar) are probably fairly easy to find, even in the villages. No one mentioned eggs, though, and I couldn't tell whether they were used. Any french toast I've ever seen first has soaked the bead slices in scrambled eggs (with a little milk and sugar, sometimes with vanilla extract and cinnamon in it), then lightly browned the soaked bread in a skillet, preferably in butter. Served with a pat of butter over the top with maple syrup, or something else sweet (honey, jam, fresh fruit, etc.). I think if you soaked roti in scrambled egg, the end effect would be different, as the egg probably wouldnt permeate the roti, but stay as a coating the outside. Still an interesting idea! And great to send with kids to school. Sliced bread more easily soaks it up, and so has a creamier/softer/moister inside when cooked, crispy outside, and luscious with something sweet drizzled over the top.
Hahahaa Dr Mode is the best mode! Rana’s farewell in English was heartwarming. Chaudhury gonna start a French cafe in his village! GSK can eat anything and keep that ‘stache clean. Love these guys.

Toast, eggs, milk, sugar, pinch of salt...and butter of course in the pan. Please tell Chaudary to take care that the heat never gets too strong and the butter never burns. Otherwise the toast he'll make will taste awful.

I just have butter on mine, dusted with confectioners sugar. Any fresh fruit with it is also good. Glad I found your channel. Bless all of you!
Banana has no combination with bread or bun? You should serve Mr. Baloch a peanut butter and banana sandwich (with a bit of honey drizzle). He will come to love banana inside bread!!!
Now you need to do a cooking video of the guys making the French Toast! YES! And then they can do a taste test of different toppings like chocolate syrup, powdered sugar, strawberries and whipped cream, maple syrup, etc.
A nice thick sweet whipped cream would be great.... If no maple syrup... Honey. I use thick texas toast..dip both sides in whisked eggs and a little milk with vanilla. Then fry up the toast with a little butter. Bananas on top of sweet whipped cream...and maple syrup.
Strawberries or blueberries are my preference for fruit on top of my French toast with butter and maple syrup. The key is pouring the syrup on yourself as you eat. Not before like in the video so it doesn't get soaked up in the bread.

Honey and or powdered sugar is also good! Not a maple syrup fan although I'm from the northeast. I prefer the Aunt Jemima!
@@wtglb 😆
Tahir back again!!! I Have missed his wisdom so much!!!! French toast with maple syrup is my favourite food, but im half french canadian and half scottish so I think its in my DNA to love these things xDDD
I knew Chaudary would love the sweet stuff and would like to recreate it. I hope you provided him with info how to make it at home.
It's really a simple dish to make. Like 5 ingredients. Toast, eggs, milk, sugar, pinch of salt...and butter of course in the pan.
Please tell Chaudary to take care that the heat never gets too strong and the butter never burns. Otherwise the toast he'll make will taste awful.
"Eat a half dozen bananas and your stomach will be calm" ?!
I eat half a banana and my stomach is rumbling like an earthquake
Take his advice as laughing jokes and food reactions as a dietary aid
Please, no more spicy food for these fine gentlemen for a while. It seems they suffered the chillies. Chaudhary was waiting for the sweet stuff LOL The Doctor Mood On sign is hilarious!!!! FULL DOCTOR MOOD ON for a t-shirt!!!
Lol hello from Connecticut. USA 🇺🇸. We love watching everyone here. Blessings be upon you!!
No syrup?! Not even any sweet cream?? How and whyyyyyyyy
Thanks guys! French toast usually is served with maple syrup. A sweet flavor syrup.👍👍
Oh the facts from Tahir are always good lol.
The best French toast is made with Thomas' Cinnamon Raisin Swirl bread and covered in Mrs. Butterworth's syrup!!!
They should try peanut butter and banana sandwich for a real treat.
You people lift my spirit in these strange times in the North of England. Try cinnamon toast sometime. Bread butter sugar and cinnamon fried.Tasty. And no doubt good for all ailments.🙏🙏
after every piece of bite they will be like " ufff kya bat hai"😆
😂😂
Lol. Kya baat hai. What a thing it is.
All of you are fun to watch eating new food for the first time. French toast is one of my favorites for breakfast, in fact, that is what I am having this morning for breakfast. I just have butter on mine, dusted with confectioners sugar. Any fresh fruit with it is also good. Glad I found your channel. Bless all of you!
Have they tried a bowl of cereal? I'd love to see that. LOL
Another great episode! One day I hope you take these fine folks to North America it would be a sight to see.
Doctor Mode Is On! AWESOME!!!!!!
Put it on a T-shirt!
I love this channel. All these gentleman bring a smile to my face everytime I watch them. Bless them all.🙏🙏🙏
Belgium waffles would be awesome for them to try!
Banana has no combination with bread or bun? You should serve Mr. Baloch a peanut butter and banana sandwich (with a bit of honey drizzle). He will come to love banana inside bread!!!
Yes, love peanut butter, bananas and honey on raisin toast!
It needs maple Syrup for sure
Now you need to do a cooking video of the guys making the French Toast! YES! And then they can do a taste test of different toppings like chocolate syrup, powdered sugar, strawberries and whipped cream, maple syrup, etc.
Syrup? Or a bourbon glaze? Something...
Bourbon is obviously off limits lol
The fork and knifes are for not getting your hands all sticky guys😆
Love this video 😊
The editing of this video was great, added fantastic comedic effect, esp the close up of Mr Chaudhary's reaction and the Doctor Mode lol. Great job.
French toast without syrup is blasphemy and pointless
@Purple Burglaralarm You might as well eat toast
@Purple Burglaralarm Where did you get that information from ?,Americans only use syrup on pancakes, French toast nothing else
@Purple Burglaralarm no, syrup on everything is not an American thing.
Syrup only goes on what it's supposed to go on, like french toast...
@@Saltinator I told him that french toast and pancakes syrup goes on only in America, he just proved he knows nothing about what and how we use items
@Purple Burglaralarm syrup = breakfast item only lol
Held out on the maple syrup! Man they would have really loved it with that!
Wait....where’s the maple syrup??
Wait a minute... I don't see maple syrup! That is a must have!
No maple syrup,,,,,,
A nice thick sweet whipped cream would be great.... If no maple syrup... Honey.
I use thick texas toast..dip both sides in whisked eggs and a little milk with vanilla. Then fry up the toast with a little butter.
Bananas on top of sweet whipped cream...and maple syrup.
Where's the maple syrup?
Great video of these folks who we all love. Bananas for pain, yokels using pointy forks and happy faces
Strawberries or blueberries are my preference for fruit on top of my French toast with butter and maple syrup. The key is pouring the syrup on yourself as you eat. Not before like in the video so it doesn't get soaked up in the bread.
God bless them. I adore their excitement and wonder as they experiment. They are a joy to behold.
Laughed my head off when he took the piss out of the Pahktuns.
Proves every culture has a stereotypical poke at somebody for fun.
Oh my goodness I love the guy in the red scarf his eyes just say pure joy
You know what would be cool idea? 💡Tribal people trying the foods that they have already eaten on the channel but this time it’s made and served by Raffique🤯😅that would be cool to watch!
Going to one-up your great recommendation: why not let Raffique prepare dishes they eat at home? They could tell us about their own cuisine, while also critiqueing/praising the dish made for them?
"Doctor mode is on" made me chuckle lol😅
you guys never give them the complete plate there is always something missing from the dish youre serving them. whats french toast with no syrup lol
I didn't see any syrup on the pancakes ether
