If you want to check out more Wheein stuff. She released a comeback album early this year with her new company. Did a video for every song, all of which are really good IMO. The Make Me Happy performance in the cat costume is really fun. She launched her own YT channel around the same time as well. Where she does VLOG's about stuff she likes or behind the scenes stuff. Not sure it has much to "react" to, but it definitely gives a good insight into her that seemed kinda hidden before. I think the only one of Mamamoo that doesn't regularly update their personal YT is Hwasa.

Regarding Wheein, she was also the last member to really catch my eye. But as she released more solo music (especially Water Color from last year), I started to pay more attention to her and especially her voice. And I think she's now my favourite member? There is just something strangely alluring about her. Whenever you find the time, I highly recommend checking out her solo music, especially Water Color and Make Me Happy.

Wheein was one of the last members i actively paid attention to because all of them just have that crazy presence whereas Wheein is/was more reserved and quiet but she became my favorite member. She's so talented

9:32 Solar's dream to be in a musical finally came through. I believe her debut in the musical "Matahari" was earlier yesterday.
Hwasa actually hurt ber back while rehearsing for "maria", which makes many of the performances painful to the fans... she did it all while using painkillers and patches. You can see them in several shots, unfortunlately
(At this point, wheein is the only mamamoo member who hasn't hurt her back. Though wheein and solar are the most likely to injure their ankles)
I'd definitely suggest doing wheein's and hwasa's solo debuts in one video if you haven't checked either out yet... "easy" and "twit" are often considered two sides of the same coin. And each has a special guest appearance in it... keeping a promise the two had made years prior
Kpop seriously has a super narrow beauty standard, though it's slowly been broadening through the efforts of people like hwasa. That said, while she is pretty much beloved now, she's still, sadly, the most attacked member of mamamoo, who are themselves some of the biggest shit magnets in kpop precisely because they don't try to conform to what is expected for female idols and women in general
(Definitely should check out their song "yes i am", which is all about them being proud of the so-called flaws that keep them from the expected beauty standard)
Ha, i knew her 'take off my top' comment would get that kind of reaction... it always does. It was something of a mistranslation, but not really... it was literally what she said, but was intended as 'i'd give them the shirt off my back if asked'
Since it seems i'm doing something for each member's portion... the wheein section:
The guide touched on wheein being the first to pick up choreo, but she also frequently went into helping teach the other three once she got it. She's also generally good at keeping time/beat, so the others would often let her take the lead at certain performances to ensure they were at the right parts of the choreo when needed (a big example was their year end award performance of "piano man" when they won rookie of the year)
Her songs she's released since this guide, "water color" and "make me happy" were both choreographed by yoonyoung, a member of the highly respected just jerk dance crew (who have won international awards). Yoonyoung and leejung lee were the backup dancers and choreographers for wheein's first solo, "easy". Also the first idol song either worked on...and both are now quite famous choreographers and still good friends with wheein, having also worked on some of her unofficial stuff, like a "be like me" dance cover she released on her birthday a few years ago
She really did get her artistic side from her mother, who is an artist and photographer. Her mother has gifted her several items with hand drawn artwork over the years (shoes and a jacket are biggest examples) and wheein also likes to give hand made gifts to others the same way
(Also, want to mention that moonbyul is also an avid fan of photography. She has quite a collection of cameras and some of the shots officially released as promo material were actually taken by moonbyul)
As for her height, wheein is 159 cm tall. Hwasa is 160, solar is 161 and moonbyul is 162.8 (don't you dare forget that 0.8, it really upsets her). They actually have a song about this, called "taller than you" or "1 cm" since there is only 1 cm of difference between each pair
All the members are quite versatile, whether talkimg about music, style, performance or whatever, but musically, moonbyul has released the widest variety, trying to remind everyone she can do more than just rap
And "citt" is really funny because she's basically barbie in it. And like you said, it seems to be everything she doesn't like but has finally embraced. She used to get mad when moos called her cute, but is now going out of her way to be cute at the most unexpected times
This guide is somewhat dated now, so moonbyul is actually now the most credited female kpop artist. That happened last month
The first part of the troll segment... that was actually something byul herself cooked during her online concert and had the staff try. When she tried it herself, understood why they hated it. She had wheein as one of her special guests (the other three were byul's corgis), so decided to offer her to try the dish, too. Little shit she is, loving to torment everyone. And we wouldn't want her to be any other way
Funny thing is that when this guide was made, only solar had a yt channel but now all four members have them and byul actually did name hers 'moonbyul2da' (pronounced moonbyulida, like she teased solar about)
I kind of loved the slightly unhinged vibe of dg with a fever 😂

So Mamamoo are my ults, and have been pretty much since the moment they debuted. Here's some things to add:
1. Besties Wheein and Hwasa used to travel to Seoul from their hometown together to audition for companies. Wheein was actually accepted to a different company where Moonbyul was also a trainee but it didn't work out and they both left. RBW was Wheein and Hwasa's last ditch effort, and luckily, they accepted them both!
2. Solar was considered 'too old' when auditioning so was also turned down by many companies before getting into RBW
3. When you said Solar's 'not much taller'...that's actually a running joke in Mamamoo, since they're always arguing about their heights but there's only 1cm between them all. They even made a diss track with a full MV: 1cm (Taller Than You) where they diss each others heights 😂
4. Mamamoo actually have a lot of comedy songs. They made one called Aze Gag (Dad Jokes) where every lyric is a pun, which I'm sure you'd enjoy :p
5. Moonbyul now has her own TH-cam channel and actually called it moonbyul2da (what a queen troll)
6. Although Byul is the queen troll, Wheein and Hwasa love joining in to troll Solar (poor leader haha). The three of them have nicknamed themselves the Loser Crew lol
This guide is amazing at giving an outline of all the members separately, but if you wanna see the chaotic mess that happens when you leave them in a room together I'd suggest the video: 'Why MAMAMOO should stop hosting their own show'...pure chaos
OK, essay over
The shots of them in dog costumes (and as food) is from their performances of the song "Waggy". The 4 seasons project was a series of 4 EPs that were released over the course of roughly a year. Each EP had a season, a color, and a member. Like Yellow Flower was the spring album and it was Hwasa's (so she had a solo on it). Egotistic is from Red Moon, which was Moonbyul's EP.
The first part of Solar pole dancing was from Mamamoo's 2018 MAMA performance (each member had a solo stage before they combined together) and the group that was reacting to it is IZ*ONE. The funny thing about Solar talking about being in a musical, later this month, she will be making her debut in the musical Mata Hari, where she will play the title character.
Solar was the first guest filmed for Jessi's showterview. Sadly the show recently came to end due to health issues as she was suffering the effects of COVID.

Hwasa in red latex (the one called daring) was again from Mamamoo's 2018 MAMA performance. Hwasa is just so amazing and such an inspiration. I agree on not going too much into the toxicity.
The song that caught your attention for Moonbyul is Eclipse.
So last time I saw a list put together, Moonbyul was 5th in the ranking for female K-Pop artists with the most songwriting credits. Soyeon is 10th, Exy of WJSN is 7th, IU is 6th, BoA is 4th. The top two are LE of EXID and Miryo of Brown Eyed Girls.
I want to see Moonbyul and Wendy of Red Velvet find out who is the greasiest.

I'm just gonna say that people see quality in videos and they're gonna love seeing more videos from channel they see have quality and maybe took more time but knows what they're talking about or that like what they're talking about
I will say that while aoa's cover of "egotistic" was performed nothing like the mamamoo version, it reminded quite a few moos of mamamoo's 2016 performance of "you're the best" at the melon music awards (mma), where they had pinkycheeks, a gender fluid dsnce troupe, perform with them while in what is typically called drag. The suits also reminded fans of mamamoo's "decalcomanie" performances
There's been a huge kerfuffle between the fandoms because of this, since so many went on about how aoa was so amazing for having drag queens perform with them when mmm's original performance with pinkycheeks is constantly ignored. As well as the praise aoa got for the suits (another thing kpop fans tend to ignore with mmm and many other groups... if their favorite wasn't the one to do it, it's inconsequential. But if their fave does it, the whole world needs to know... then they get upset with the 'but actually, this group did it first over here')
It didn't help at all that plenty of people that weren't fans of either group constantly chimed in siding against whichever they disliked the most just to continue fanning the flames of stupid fanwars
(Hell, to this day, there are still constant comments on how x group should have won queendom. 3 years later and people still insist on trying to fight over these things)

@@JTPyrus tht was the theme of the round. Groups paired off and did a cover of each other's song (with the previous round's winner able to use a wildcard and perform any song they wanted). Aoa did Mamamoo's "egotistic", Mamamoo did AOA's "good luck". I forget what the other teams did specifically because watched the show ages ago

Just a few comments and more info about some of the things you mentioned during the reaction.
Solar as a character. lol MMM is known for their duality as serious, world-class artists vs hyper, crackhead beagle-dols but duality doesn't begin to cover Solar's multi-faceted personality. She's probably the most cheerful, radiantly happy and eternally positive mass of contradictory personality traits you're likely to encounter in one person. Moonbyul once accused Solar of having a multiple personality disorder like the male lead in the kdrama Kill Me Heal Me. Wheein put it best in a tongue in cheek, understated way when she said "Solar is an interesting existence."
Solar is finally making her debut in a musical at the end of the month. She's playing the lead in a revival of Mata Hari.
CITT vs Moonbyul's expected style. Get used to it. MMM consistently surprises everyone and whether it's the group or their solo projects they're always trying new genres and basically doing whatever they want.
Eclipse was Moonbyul's groundbreaking song with an aggressive dance style and an androgynous MV concept. Plenty of female idols have done bad girl, tough girl or girl crush concepts but as far as I know no woman had done anything like Eclipse previously. She left the "girl" out of the equation, ignored gender altogether and just did Moonbyul.
All the MMM members are on the short side with Moonbyul the tallest at just over 5'4" but of course that doesn't keep them from trolling Wheein for being the shortest munchkin in Oz. MMM wrote a hilarious crack hip hop diss track called 1 CM/Taller Than You in which they bicker over their height over a sample of Dr Dre's groove on Eminem's song The Real Slim Shady. For a good time check out the MV.
Hwasa's Maria was one of the biggest hits of 2020. I thought it was the most impactful song of the year because of the subject matter and her artistry on the song, dance and MV. She won the MAMA award for best solo dance performance for Maria. Her album Maria was my pick for album of the year and the b-side LMM (Lost My Mind) was my choice for song of the year. Check out the LMM MV after Maria - they're bookend songs.
"I'll never let you go." The final words at the end of part 2 refer to the fandom motto Never Letting Go. At a fan meeting in 2015 moomoos surprised MMM by holding up signs with that slogan while the girls were singing Love Lane. They burst into tears and could barely finish the song. Solar responded by writing a poem to moomoos and posting it on the fan cafe. Over the next year Moonbyul & Hwasa added rap verses and they turned it into fan song for moomoos called I Love You Too, with the alternate titles Never Letting Go or Tears. You'll understand the 2nd alt title when you watch the MV, which was filmed during one of MMM's first concerts in 2016.
Moonbyul has actually started her own Moonbyulida YT channel since then!

All four members are super sassy, esp when they're around people that make them feel comfortable (esp each other). You've noticed aspects of thst throught this guide, though (i only finished solar's part so far, so only talking about that, really)
Solar was actually on showterview twice...technically the first person ever interviewed for the program (though second or third aired) and then again, first interviewed after a hiatus for the program (which, sadly, is over for good now). The two didn't know each otber at all before the first interview but got slong really well once solar was comfortable. They also were on a few variety shows together (with byul foe one of them) and, by thr time of the second showterview interview had even gone bowling together
Jessi also had hwasa in showterview, but the two were already close because of refund sisters. I love the bibi sister interactions between the two
So jessi is now close with half of mamamoo and has spent at least some time with 3/4. Really was hoping to see soloists moonbyul and wheein as showterview guests, as well as the chaos of the whole group all at once, but alas... (i understand it was ended for jessi's health, but loved all the episodes so much)
If you want to check out some non-performance content from these women, can't go wrong with mamamoo tv... not every episode is really reaction-worthy, but they're all worth checking out. A lot of offstage antics, behind the scenes at mv shoots, music shows, concerts and such
...just be warned, that kind of stuff is where wheein shines and she's stolen many hearts from the other three members through it
There's also stuff like their variety show appearances (i know you mentioned knowing bros, but also weekly idol and more). Including some unique to them: one luck day, showtime (with gfriend), but especially the shows for their 6 and 7 year anniveraries, moomoo trip and 3 meals a day

Wheein is r&b diva of South Korea and she is very low-key , so it’s not surprising that you don’t notice her
The first time heard or saw Mamamoo was the 1Million dance studio dance practice for Gogobebe and Wheein that caught my eye and has been my bias ever since. The more I delved into this group the more I loved them. Their B sides are no joke.
I’m glad to see how strong Hwasa is now, and I hope she glows even more in future even though she is doing great now 🔥 There are quite number of celebrities who actually committed suicide due to mental tortures by the unstoppable hatred comments and they tried to fit into so called “expectations” but they were still getting attacked by words in the end no matter how hard they tried. Which makes me heart break to see those beautiful souls leave this world full of hatred 💔 I just don’t get it, like whyyyyy!!

I'm not a MooMoo but Wheein is the first one that stuck out to me. I watched Egotistic first and I loved her fits and her confidence. And then in Starry Night she was so freaking gorgeous. And then I watched a guide and it was over. I know this is about Mamamoo but j-hope of BTS is my favorite person on the planet and I see a lot of similarities with Wheein and her role in the group. Like they're both Aces. Super well-rounded and incredibly talented artists but they seldom get the spotlight. They serve more as pillars. And because they do so many things well, it can take longer to pick up on everything they can do. If you have a "thing" that you do amazingly and you do repeatedly it's easy for someone to latch onto that--"Oh, that's the girl with the killer belts" or "Oh, that's the guy with the fast flow." But when you do something incredible but different on each track, you have to go through more before you start to realize, "I've liked/been surprised by that person every time." That's Wheein and j-hope. And once you see it, you can't unsee it. The talent is unquestionable and unrivaled. Or maybe I just like my Jungs. haha. I also like that they both have some unexpected personality combos. Like you see how cute Wheein is but then she's an incredibly sexy performer and then she bust out these great hip hop dances...j-hope is incredibly kind and warm but he's the coolest guy on the planet and also the neat freak. I love that layered, surprising combination.

Wait, DG, WHICH of Solar's interviews with Jessi did you watch? There are two of them; Solar is the first returning guest that Jessi had on the show. Jessi's Korean has of course progressed A LOT since that first interview. Solar's English, though... lol She didn't even try because it is SO HARD (her words). That actually surprised me because she loves to finish what she starts, she is obviously very head-strong. I was trying to figure that out.
I have NEVER seen MoonByul as 'androgynous'. I always found her to be quite beautiful. The Korean Beauty Standard is WEIRD (I keep saying that the K-B-S is just plain B.S.). Too bad Byul-yi sees herself that way, but it's likely conditioning to think that way because that is how the industry has been her whole life.
Same stuff we have in the United States; models have to be TALL or they can't be on the runway (I know somebody who wanted to be a model, she was really a gorgeous lady, but she was told that she would never make it on the runway solely because she is only 5'2" - 5'3". It is SO stupid! HD cameras can do AWESOME things! Why should height be any concern these days?). And models have to be rail-thin. It's so dumb, ladies killing themselves with eating disorders which lead to other mental and emotional problems...
Anyway, Byul-yi deserves better. All we can do is respect her as 'handsome' but I still say she is beautiful. She's unique, which I like. She is Byul-tiful. :D
