Kec80 is really bipolar between phoneline and wireless and sometimes around like 6-8 Pm Edt the transmitter will start glitching as it switches over to wireless and after like 30 minutes or so its fine on wireless. Also its bad that Kec80 does this because on one alert which was glitching like heck the EOMs got partially cut due to the transmitter losing signal. The Warning wasn’t issued for his area, since he lives in Union County (where Cranford, NJ is located in). The warning was only issued for Sussex and Warren counties, which are on the other side of the state.

This right here is what happens when storm trackers/chasers with SKYWARN like me see trouble & will immediately call the National Weather Service directly on the phone or by HAM radio. We send them direct proof of the event taking place. We give them our spotter ID which allows the EAS to be triggered with the specific tag "Confirmed Tornado." For so & so location. If you receive a tornado warning or severe thunderstorm warning more than likely it's because a storm spotter/chaser has seen something 2/3 of the time. You will receive these warning through your phones, radios, or through TV.

I always loved tornadoes and EAS’s. I have a WR120 from Christmas. I still remember the day I went to my grandmas to get it.
wr120 was also my first true weather radio, with cl-100 being my favorite

You should get the Midland WR120. I would recommend the EAR-10 but they dont make it anymore.
Mine has barely any static ,but its a wireless transmitter so it goes off and on often (like every 3-5 minutes)
