Built:
1.Material: Overall material is thin synthetic mesh-like with elastic material around the lace area that is fairly stretchy. There is bumps on the shooting/toe area that is for "better grip" on the ball but they don't do that. On the more premium models, ie accuracy .1 and accuracy.2, the bumps are made of rubber which actually do provide grip, but on these boots, they are just bumps that are more for looks and is more of a gimmick.
2. Sole: The out soles stud pattern is definitely for firm ground and are very aggressive, the grip is really good. There is this facet kind of design that I really like the look of. The soles are flexible but they don't snap back and it doesn't feel that responsive/explosive when pushing off (not very significant, just a feeling i like
3. Padding - Being a speed/power boot, there is minimal padding on the upper, which gives a slight barefoot sensation but not much protection
Fit and Comfort:
1.Weight: The boot is definitely on the lighter end (not extremely light). It has good balance to it
2. Fit: The fit around the mid foot and toe area is perfect, absolutely perfect, very much locked in and tight snug feeling. The thin upper gives good feel for the ball when dribbling and shooting. However, the fit around ankle and heel isn't as good. The padding around the heel and the material above it doesn't do a good job locking your heel. A shallow heel, it isn't terrible but definitely is an uneasy feeling.recommend using grip Socks would help a ton
3. Grip - the grip is really good for firm ground but it might be a little too good for artificial ground
I really love the look of the boot, all black, especially this sort of facet design on the sole but a better heel lockdown would be perfect. Coming from a Nike hypervenom 3 academy (idk the exact model name this time, I wanted a speed-boot. This boot isn't as comfortable, not to say they're uncomfortable but the heel lockdown is a little uneasy. That said, these are more than enough for any average player and semi-pro even. If you like a more padded feel, go for the adidas copa pure .3 which retails at the same price. Nike tiempo legend 9 is also a good option. There are puma boots in speed-boot category that are also really good
1. Break in process/Update: (this is an update after using the boots for a week, the rest of the review is initial opinion) I've used these for about a week now with around 4 sessions and my opinion on them have improved, the 1st session wasn't all that comfortable but by the end of the session, the upper had stretched well and was starting to feel more comfortable, the next session onwards, the boots had molded to my feet, the ankle lockdown issue wasn't all that bad but could be better
