That wagon looks awesome l love the way you used srews for the coil over shocks . The weathring and rust effects really bring the model together , great job 👏 👍
Your channel has been giving me a huge amount of inspiration for car ideas to use for props for a character of mine in an apocalypse setting. So thank you very much. The build turned out fantastic by the way. Really think green pulled it together.
I always try to rotate colors that I use so everything doesn't end up the same. I'm glad I added the white door, it sets off the colors more than just green. Thanks for watching!
Love your rivets. I paint directly over styrene all the time and it adheres great and a must if building model cars for shows so it's all smooth no brush stroke all airbrush and model spray paints for whole build. A good primer I love is Mr. Surfacer 1000 grey fine primer it's in a spray can goes on very thin so it doesnt hide tiny details. I use that on every thing that i paint. Try the salt method for weathering I love it there us tones of videos on TH-cam of how to do it super easy and very effective
This is sick as hell, you did a great job. The one white door really sells the whole story from such a small decision. The only thing I would have added was extra black exhaust weathering on the roof next to the exposed engine. Looking forward to the next one :)
Thank you sir! I thought about putting some exhaust dirtying in the area you said but the exhaust is coming down and out the back. I don't know much about cars so I could be wrong but I thought the things sticking out the top were air intake "velocity stacks" Anyway, I appreciate your comments! Hi, Ben! It's a work of art. So much detail, and so realistic looking in the end. Loved watching the whole process from start to finish. My favourite parts were the scratch built suspension, the broken glass (totally stealing that idea, thanks) and of course the log bumper. Having done plenty of wooden imitations due to a history in Restorative & Decorative painting, start with a bit more whitish-yellowish. After your grain is added you can always darken in with a transparent layer. Wood is 9/10 times lighter than you think, untreated wood that is.

I know why you didn’t cut the windows out before. It’s because it wouldn’t have that extra support structure when it’s all together and it would be really hard to glue and line up correctly … but cutting them out afterwards gives you that support and can put them exactly where you want
