Talk about a character arc I'm hoping that it will be two arcs and he goes full circle, back to AFC Richmond, to take over when Ted leaves at the end of the season
I love Nick as an actor and comedian and I was so mad at the WRITERS for making him the villain and destroying his character. Nick and Nate both deserved better. But I guess as an actor he might enjoy the chance to practice his dramatic skills.
It gives him good material so we can see his phenomenal acting skills... and allows us to peek into the depth of the character as he makes a full circle (which we are starting to see). While it is not fun to see Evil Nate, it is great to see more and more of Nick's talent.
I can forgive how he spoke to Ted, like the man himself has as, we both know that comes from deep pain & have the same Father as Nate so, I get it. However, I do struggle with forgiving him for outing Ted’s mental health to the papers, that was low!
Yes, they really piled on the bad, indefensible behavior so we could really dislike him... but I love how we can see glimpses of why the character did it and how he is starting to make a turnaround. Good good stuff.
Awesome performance, Nick. I love how your character evolves and you gain confidence through the seasons.
Nate's story arc is one of the best pieces of comedy-drama writing of recent years, brilliantly acted by Nick, too.
Wow, his voice on Ted Lasso seems soo natural!!! Great actor 👌
