Are you just getting into model rocketry? To make it easier to wrap your mind around the variety of rockets, we have several ways of classifying them. We do this so that you can distinguish the differences, and find the one that would fit your needs the best. As you dig into the different types of rockets, you'll find that the variety is almost endless, and there are so many opportunities to increase your experiences in the hobby.

Level 1 - Beginner Educational
Level 2 - Intermediate Educational
Level 3 - Advanced Educational
Level 4 - Beginner Recreational
Level 5 - Intermediate Recreational
Level 6 - Advanced Recreational
Level 7 - Beginner Scientific
Level 8 - Intermediate Scientific
Level 9 - Advanced Scientific
Level 10 - Sub-Orbital
Level 11 - Orbital

Hey Tim. I saw a few of your rockets from the far end by the gate you flew at Airfest, but didn't see you. Good to see that you are out there flying with us. Did Apogee have a booth out there? Maybe I missed it, my head in the clouds. 🚀🌳 My friend got certified level 1 on the Zephyr.
Yes. It was great to be out there on the prairie in Kansas. The weather was beautiful, and the people were even better. I had the same problem as you... I didn't get out to the far reaches of the parking area to see what all the cool projects people were working on. My booth was just for displaying the rockets I flew, so you probably didn't miss much.
