Absolutely I buy multiples in different colors if there's an item I love....because when you get ready to change up, you can't find that style or your size anymore. Wise decision IMO! I love all the items shown and would wear them all. Cleaning Converse....it's my most favorite shoe and I have 11 pairs in most of the colors, and including a leather pair. The way I clean mine is washing machine & dryer (with some towels just so they don't bang around so much & the towels help soak up the moisture). If they have particularly gruesome funk on the edges, I use a combo of Clorox Clean-up, Dawn dishwashing detergent, & baking soda mixed into a paste, then rubbed on with a toothbrush. Gotta be careful that it doesn't soak up into the fabric, though, because it WILL bleach the color. Works really well.
Yes, that makes sense with buying multiples so you have it when you need it! Thanks so much, I'm so glad you loved the items! Oh that's a great idea for cleaning Converse!
I have two pairs of Lottas from Stockholm clogs and I love them! I will probably get another pair for this summer. As for cleaning your chucks, I have put my white ones in the washer multiple times and they wash great. If you want to just clean up the rubber parts, a magic eraser works really well!
Hi! I found your channel about a week ago and I just love you and your content! I just recently at 50 years old found my style lol. I just love love that you love vintage and you also wear clothes from "now". THAT is my dream wardrobe/ closet! I have always thrifted BUT I never tried anything on before I bought it and because of watching your channel I started doing that and holy crap has that saved me so much money!!!! Thanks for being YOU and so honest....it really helps "us" out here!!!!!!
The clogs from Lotta's from Stockholm are fantastic. She has so many wonderful colors and styles! Very reasonably priced and a small business. :) The clogs are crazy comfy.
You are glowing! I absolutely recommend Swedish Hasbeens. I didn't take off my pair last summer, and they didn't take too long to break in. They usually go for like $250 or so but they have a killer spring/summer sale that typically takes place in May. Got my pair for $75 last year. Will be buying more. And you can find them secondhand on TRR or various IG resale accts.
Hi Erica --- seriously I would hand wash the jumper -- manufacturers say dry clean as a disclaimer in case someone just throws it in a regular wash , hope you and tiny tiny acornbare doing well x
I always wash my dryclean clothes in the washing mashine (I have a quite good one) with the programm: handwash cold! With gentle eco friendly wool soap. And it's a bit tricky to dry it. It's problably to dry it flat on a big towel. But I wash my wool/dry clean clothes not often. They become fresh just hanging in fresh air! Take care 💕
Yes! I have even washed wool jackets 😱😁 in the machine on a cold, gentle wool wash using detergent for wool garments. So much better than the harsh chemicals used for dry cleaning and they come out smelling amazing. Never had issues. Definitely dry flat on a towel.
Re: cleaning converse - you can put them in the washer! I went to a laundromat instead of using my washing machine but I washed my white converse, my black ones and a checkered pair of vans all together. They take a few days to dry out in the sun but they cleaned them enough that they weren’t grubby anymore but not so much that they looked “too” clean or brand new again. It was perfect! Just make sure you take the laces out and wash separately. Hope that helps! Loved this video too! What a great idea and so helpful. ❤️
Love this video! The pant I’m dreaming still existed is a black trouser pant, full length, trouser leg, like a clean sleek professional pant 💭💭✨✨🌟 I wish those everlanes weren’t cropped. I’m 5’9” and actually need some length. 🙃 I love your thrifted floral dress! It’s so versatile!!!
I remember seeing all these pieces on you...they are all wonderful! I agree that you can mix/match them all with the addition of a couple of shirts. Regarding sweater-cleaning, I am avoiding the dry cleaner's by "dry-cleaning" my good sweaters (like cashmere) at home. I just turn them inside-out, spritz them with a deodorizer/cleaner that came with a dry-cleaning kit that I bought a long time ago and tumble them in the dryer for 10 minutes or so. Then I hang them up to air out, and voila! Better than sending them out (no chemical smell and I think they are actually fresher).
So much wardrobe envy! Love your style; you offer more fashion inspiration than any other TH-camr I follow. Beautiful, inside and out! Keep up the fabulous work, lady!
Love all of the outfits you created with these looks!! I love pairing new items with vintage and thrifted pieces! Obsessed with the plaid jacket you paired with the Cheeky jeans at 8:45! Do you remember the brand? ❤️
Oh Erica...….. if I buy something I really like and can't stop wearing, not only I'll buy the same garment in different colours, but in a different size! My weight fluctuates sometimes and I don't want to miss out. And I do the same with my daughters' clothes as well (oh dear). I didn't know anyone else who does this, and there you are! Love from the UK X
Love love love all your videos! I started thrifting about a year and a half ago and that when I discovered you! You are the ultimate style inspiration!
Love your style! I like watching capsule wardrobe videos but I don’t have one myself either, I love wearing a different outfit every day and changing up my style!
It's funny, I too am the same shoe size I was in high school, but my style was SO bad that I'm glad I didn't keep any of my shoes from that era...I did, however, have a pair of black leather combat boot/creeper/oxford hybrids (best way I can describe them) that would be SO on trend right now! haha
Love! I loved seeing how you styled your leather jacket while in Paris! Also those day gloves are amazing! I also used Squarespace to start my website and it is killer! Everything looks amazing on it!
I love your style, even though it’s a lot girlier than mine. I’m a bit of a tomboy, but I love how you mix colours and prints! I would love to see a top 10 t-shirts edition, styled with different outfits. I like how you mix your printed t-shirts with high-waisted pants of different sillouettes. Too specific? lol.
Thanks so much!! The black pants at the beginning (with the grey sweater) are actually part of a jumpsuit. Here's the link: rstyle.me/+oxCkcy_fs8A4RouNJFWqfg. I also wear the Everlane black wide leg crop pants a lot: rstyle.me/+1iLuK4VKgp4DH5NdF3BBUg
Hi! I love alpaca wool because of its antimicrobial properties! The moisture just wicks away. High quality 100% alpaca wool clothing technically doesn’t require washing.
Tiny Acorn Yes, l second that. Also with merino wool. They are kind of self-cleaning when it comes to organic smells. Lucky animals. 🙂 If needed, wash in cold water on the lowest spins with some wool detergent then squeeze the water out with a towel and lay flat to air dry. Wools are fine, but don't do that with mohair. (Which is selfcleaning too, but shrinks when tumbled. So no dryer at all!). And as mentioned many times about the Converse, l suggest to brush off the dust and such with a brush first and then put them in a wash. This way they won't change the colour when the sand and such get stuck in a fabric. And of course, your wardrobe is amazing. I like how you can see the potencial of garment and how kind and calm you look everytime. 🙂
Great video to watch! I also love wooden clogs, I also have a pair of UGG, but the clogs closed at the front. They have the typical UGG lambskin in the toe area, the perfect transition shoe to wear barefoot. The UGG model is called Abbie.... What I can recommend to you too, I discovered through a TV series: I think the brand SWEDISH HASBEENS has the most beautiful clogs with heels. Best regards
I have a green skirt very similar to your blue vintage skirt, and the last time I wore it a woman told me I looked like I was on my way to a square dance. I could tell she meant it as an insult, so I smiled and responded, “That would be nice.” She was taken aback and appeared confused. I suppose she expected an angry or hurt response, but that kind of pettiness will never bother me. She was far from stylish, so not sure why she was acting as the fashion police.
About the converse, I usually just throw them
In the wash without any softener when they get too dirty and it always comes out great👌🏼

Lotta from stockholm... love love!! Congratulations on the little bundle!
Yes, love my Lotta’s!
Un idk about you guys, but when something says dry clean only, I just wash it and hang dry it. Nothing bad has happened to me yet 🤷🏻♀️
YUP haha
Yep same! They say to dry clean to protect themselves from customers complaining about shrinkage etc
Delicate cold wash with a low spin is how I wash all my wools and silks and viscoses
Oh and importantly using only delicate laundry liquid
What a fun idea to do this! I'm never get tired of seeing all the way you put your outfits together 🤗
I'm so glad!
I love the Lotta from Stockholm clogs - I bought mine from Etsy and they’ve held up well and are super cute :) love seeing your most worn pieces!

Such great pieces. I like how you added lots of photos of different ways you’ve styled them
I’m a fan of Swedish Hasbeens! That have many styles at different heel heights. ♥️
Who else presses the thumbs up sign before watching her videos? I do buy multiples of things I love especially silk camisoles & ethic tunics,
Love love love all your videos! I started thrifting about a year and a half ago and that when I discovered you! You are the ultimate style inspiration!
Aw wow! That's so cool that I inspired you to get into thrifting! Makes me smile! 😀

Yes put your Converse in the washing machine, you can put them in a net bag, no fabric conditioner and they will be like new.
REALLY? Wait, so I can use detergent but not fabric softener?
If you get a lot of recommendations for good clogs could you post them? I’ve been looking for some forever!
Lotta from Stockholm! I have 2 pairs and they are very well made
Erika, I saw you had a list of ladies that inspired you. What about making a video recreating those outfits with items you already own?
Love the idea! What list are you talking about though?

I wash my converse in the washer. I wash them with towels or blankets and air dry. I put hand towels in them as they dry to keep their shape.
Brilliant suggestions!!!
Love these, however, my favorite of yours is the Everlane black jumpsuit. xo
Your wardrobe is curated to perfection. Is there any special piece that you are still on the hunt for?
You are so cute! Love this vid!! I am inspired now 😊
Thank you so much! I'm glad it provided some inspo!😊

Oh cool!
I just bought ribcage jeans after watching this video. Postpartum so not sure of my size. Do these strech out a lot? My 100% cotton re/done jeans did.
In my experience they have a tiny bit of stretch but when you wash and dry them they go back to their normal size
i love the red skirt so much!
Lotta From Stockholm for the clogs!
Would you ever be interested in doing a vintage jewelry collection? I love your rings in this video!
Maybe one day!
I feel 100% the same about camel coats!!
omg really?! 😘
Hi, what color do you have on your nails? Love the electric red!
It's Called RED-VIVAL by OPI 😘
Lol, I have that one! Love it a lot. and it looks great on you!
Hi lovely! What is the name of the wash for the levi's ribcage jeans?
Hi! The wash is called Jive Swing, but I think they might not make that wash anymore. I also have them in Georgie.
I feel like you would really like the ethical brand "Bourgine"
Just checked it out. So cute!
I'm exactly the same with my best pieces/most worn pieces! I just buy every other colour that i like.... 😅😎👖👚👗

How are the daygloves with your high arches?
They are fine! I mean, if I was going to walk around Disneyland all day or something, I would definitely wear a tennis shoe with arch support.
I love your style and you're beautiful!
I would never ever buy something that's dry clean only. Never. Also, no animal products for me.
But other than that, I would definitely wear all the other stuff on repeat!
I do the same thing! Love the video :)
I wash all stars in the washing machine.
Here's a good reason to not buy any more day gloves-- Everlane has been union busting! I'm not buying from them anymore. twitter.com/EverlaneU
Love you too!!
Hey Tiny Acorn, how are you, great video, hope you have not forgotten about me, pls drop by my channel when you are free.
The white Converse must be washed!!!! It not just look dirty but it's also a matter of hygiene.
