ex HMAS ADELAIDE (FFG01)

A slap together video of ex HMAS Adelaide (FFG01) the first of the Oliver Hazard Perry Class for the Royal Australian Navy (Adelaide Class). The vessel now lies as an artificial reef for divers to visit. Sunk not far off Avoca Beach, and a quick ride from the beautiful coastal town of Terrigal in the Central Coast, North of Sydney, Australia. A depth of up to around 36m to the sea floor, with pockets reaching 40m depth. A lovely dive site, though the vessel is quite more gutted than a number of other ex Naval vessels sunk as artifical reef dive sites.
