Many cultures, such as Tibetan, Japanese, and Native Americans do sand art. This si the first time I've seen it done on a beach. I love this man's courage and determination to do what is real!
I feel that this is art in its truest form. It's not to impress anybody and not to leave a lasting impression, but to create something beautiful whether it last for 1 day or 1 millennium.
Mr. Amador, you give meaning, you enlighten the issues surrounding landscape art and art that need not be permanent (is any actually permanent?). Makes teaching the subject so much easier, so much more accessible for my students! Many thanks to you for all of this!
Smart Guy...Beautiful, Imaginative, Original Art...No special trip to "Pearl Paint", for expensive art supplies and materials, which has now closed recently...Andres Amador with the help of a few simple tools, uses the earth's open bounty to create memorable graphic art on a beach somewhere......!!! Too soon to be re-claimed by the sea...!!!!
I absolutely hate modern art. But stuff like this is cool. I hate those dumb art pieces that look like nothing and people pretend to think they're deep.
In the 45 stated goals of communism ratified by the Soviet Duma, the destruction of traditional and classical art paradigms experienced by both artist and spectator were targeted to aid in the destruction of western virtues, partly by doing just that...creating public art works that are pointless and without beauty but by the awarding of large fund amounts, would convince people to believe they are “deep and meaningful”.
Exquisite. Moving. Powerful in it's simplicity, its' elegance, and it's impermanence. Deep bow, Andres. Deep bow.

Being someone who pours my soul into my work this would be difficult. It would be a good idea to find a way to practice impermanence.
