I love how these some of the combos in this montage go to the beat of the song. This is by far the most aesthetic montage I’ve ever watched.
That's called syncing. Montages wouldn't be great without them.

There's a lot to like about this video: the player, the editing; but one thing I was somewhat turned off by was the edits on individual hits during a combo. I felt like it slowed it down, broke up the pace of the combo.
Building up the finishing hit is fine, since it's just that, the finisher, and proper build up, as exemplified many times in this video, has really great results.
But, personally, I feel like doing the same with each little hit of a combo, unless it's a hard read or something of the sorts, just really slows down the pace of the combo.
I understand it's mostly to help keep the pace up with the beat of the song, but there could be better ways around the issue. In any case, it's the only comment I have on the whole thing. Other than that, it's damn near legendary.
The whole point of that is so each hit of the combo syncs with with the music, it enhances the pace
Hence why I said "personally". To me, it doesn't. I never claimed it was a factual flaw, it's an opinion, like any other.
