I just realized something. If you, or anyone out there, is looking to eliminate orange peel. Here's a tip I use for spray painting with paints or clear coats. Warm the colors or coats. I put it into the container and set it in hot tap water for five minutes. All you need is a little tap water in a sink. Just enough to set the container in. Get the tap water as hot as you can get from the sink. DO NOT BOIL THE WATER. I saw someone do that, and it wasn't good. What the warming does is help make the coating flow more fluid. This works great for me. Try it and let me know how it works.
When I was active in restoring vintage aircraft, this was something that really was that critical for flight performance. In wood and cloth biplanes, weight was that critical. When I painted F-14s in the Navy, the paint added 40-50 lbs of weight to the airframe. The warming made the paint more fluid so it didn't coat clumpy and uneven on the skin. You want a glass smooth finish on your car. Just some FYI to consider. Have an awesome day Kalvin.

These dark red 240s I love! I owned a '91 auto very briefly, but I sadly parted with it only for the next owner to crap it out and compete in a demolition derby. It was a great car, but I am looking for another burgundy hatch. That deep purple looks great in the engine bay. This would look absolutely fantastic in a black 240. Just sayin.' I actually brought up this possibility at a local auto parts store here in Minnesota. They said don't do it, because it looks feminine. I beg to differ here, because it compliments the dark red very well. Very nice! Keep up the dedication, and congratulations on your new job Kalvin!!
I want to learn more about paintwork. I want to paint my truck but I am not sure about reducers and type of paint and paintgun setup and stuff like that

Meh. I personally wouldn't suggest a 240. Especially if it was my ride everyday, and my FIRST car. Would deff pick one up as a side project tho👍🏽👍🏽 they are fun cars! No secret that 240sx's are known for getting beat on, modified, whatever tho. And you'll more than likely be paying for repairs or trying to figure stuff out that previous owners have done to the car or didn't do that they should have. Basically, if you don't know what your looking for / or doing you could get seriously screwed with a 240 and have an unreliable pos and wonder what you were thinking. 240's this clean are hard to come by, and require investment. Buy a reliable daily, and not worry about transportation. THAN use your money from that point on to save for a 240 project. Just a thought. Sorry such a long story lol. Little drunk 😁
