my father in law was a Coast Guardsman during WWII, and met his wife there in town. He was in love with the UP and to this day we have many family members there. thanks!

I wish they would re-open the smaller locks and serve some purpose for them. Also, haven't been over to the place for awhile thanks to the pass-port situation. I really want to see some of these places from 10 years ago to see what's new. Thanks.

So the first settlement in 1668 was on the Canadian Side and "Sault Ste. Marie" means rapids of St. Mary, not falls of St. Marie but not a bad video
