Kinetic Glitch Text With Slit-Scan in After Effects

Here's a quick version of the slit-scan tutorial where you gonna find out how to distort text in After Effects where you also can make a glitch effect out of it or make a total smooth distortion without any pixelated glitch style. The effect can be also pushed to a next level with couple of stroke lines and gaussian blur on the gradient ramp so it will distort it even more.

One can use a light blur and choker to eliminate pixilation if desired, though it does round corners a bit

Yes that would work, it would eliminate the round corners if you increase the values to 150ish on time displacement
