I arrived in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, also formerly known as Saigon, only to realise that English is not as common, even in such a big and vibrant city. But in Rome, do as Romans, so I took the help of Google maps, translate and lens to find interesting things about my destinations.
Did you know that you can also download the Vietnamese language offline so that it is easy to communicate even when you are not connected to the internet?

Hi Tanya, I like your travel video where you explore and vlog by yourself .. this is becoming more like high budget / high tech or stylish video where we as audience don’t get that same essence that we used to get while watching your older videos. Don’t get it wrong but i am following you since past 4 year and used to get excited when you upload video. Now , that pure warmth is slowly going away and it is becoming every other travel video.

Following you since your meghalaya/Arunachal days (~3 years) and this is the first time I felt the need to leave a comment.
You used to show us how travel to any destination was doable by anyone. It’s understandable that you have brand obligations to cover them.
But this video was not about Vietnam or Ho Chi Minh. This was about how technology can help us when we are surrounded by people who don’t speak our language.
Please dont compromise on content at the cost of promotions.

She is replying to the positive comments and ignoring the critical feedbacks. This seems like not even scripted by her, hence you are missing the genuineness. This is just another brand video.

Finally! A OnePlus ad no one asked for.
Brands need to understand that only 6% of the people in the world speak english, so putting pressure on the influencer / travel vlogger to make content in english doesn't make sense, had Tanya made this video in Hindi, the video would have got way more views. At the end of the day it's all about how many people actually watched your video coz you curated it with so much hard work. Secondly brands need to understand especially the big ones that just mentioning your name on the video throughout won't help you reach the mass rather it would irritate the audience and switch off. If Tanya would have made this video informative like the way she does with good story telling...it would have been a gem.

Tanya you doing great job but i have a suggestion that sharing basic information like taxi fare and other tourist attractions and hotel charges, best area to stay is as important as to add glamour in video this will add references for future use for your subscribers.

How in the world was Mekong Delta river cruise so peaceful and quiet? Can you share name of the tour company or boat company you booked? What tips to get that experience because a lot of other travel vloggers show it being so noisy and jam-packed with other tourists and boats - a true Instagram vs Reality difference. Would love to know when/what month or time of day or which day of the week you went. Thanks.
This country was devastated by the war in 1970's, and just see how much it has progressed. In comparison, India has hardly moved on from 1970's except for a few superficial steps here and there.
