dear mr beard, you never cease 2 amaze and put a smile on our faces every time you sit down to eat a gigantic meal. everytime we are out and about sitting down to eat we and the grandkids say something like, well if mr beard was here he'd eat everything on the table then ask for desert and we all laugh. thank you sir, you and mrs beard are AWESOME, we appreciate all you do. 😉
As a Canadian, I had to turn on subtitles and google what exactly gammon is. Similar to what we'd simply call a cured ham steak. Always love to learn something new from a channel, cheers!

I've made a fatal mistake of watching this just before going to sleep and now I'm hungry. Great video as always. At the end there where you're just pushing food into your mouth with your hand, I felt that internal struggle and that's when I knew I could never do something like this. But that dessert looked absolutely delicious

Hi Beard - I’ve been observing you for several weeks now but have only just subscribed. The reason for that is that I couldn’t actually believe what I was witnessing - clearly you are a very unique human being ! Many of your challenges look simply impossible yet you seem to overcome them with little trouble and then for extra greediness you go for the dessert! Put simply you make Adam Richman look like a shandy lightweight! You’re without doubt one of my favourite northerners mate. I don't know what's more astonishing, the fact you can eat all this food, or that you get all this food for $34 USD. I can't even get a hamburger and fries for $15 from anywhere besides a fast food joint. Another challenge smashed, kudos Beard BTW, as an American, I always thought black pudding was some kind of thick dessert/pastry, I had no idea it was a sausage lol.
Food is far more expensive in the UK than the US and our portion sizes are smaller. We pay an absolute fortune for beef compared to near enough everywhere else on the planet... Our welfare standards are higher than that in the EU however.
