I am a Papua New Guinean myself and I am telling you. I have experience with some of my friends who are Africans. So Melanesians are of their own race. Our nearest brothers and sisters whom we feel connected to are Australian Aboriginals, Polynesians, Micronesians and American Aboriginals. Yes, we came out of African continent, but we are a different race, people with fuzzy-wazzy or woolly hairs and brown skin colour from dark to light.
