The main benefit of not preordering that you’ll lose if you buy the ALP4k now is that you can watch reviews and determine if it’s a value purchase. Even the early adopters and influencers will admit that the Zen tables - what you purchase it for - have flipper lag. Some tables are downright unplayable like Snoopy etc. And a lot, if not all the tables, are not running in true 4K. 5% off when you factor in taxes and shipping is not worth it man. Just wait until they fix the tables it’s not like the price will rise or they’ll run out of inventory.
As for arcade1up - they’re sitting on inventory that’s 4 years old. There are thousands of units of each cab across multiple retailers available to purchase. Don’t be the guy that pays an absorbent amount of money for 4-year old leftovers.
I know you’re itching to buy something but contents already been exhausted by now with what’s been released in the home arcade space. Sit on your hands and be patient - it’s going to pay off - I promise!
Hey Mikey, Thank you man 👊 Your my voice of reason :) I’m still in the middle of Star Trek I could go either way, but I’m definitely 100% with you on not paying a lot for 1up. There’s the nostalgia factor with Trek, I don’t know yet. I heard Snoopy wasn’t the best, kind of the reason I didn’t factor the possibility of going with Peanuts skin. IMHO, i think you should forget about that Shaq Jam cab. You already have the perfect NBA Jam. It has a BOE monitor (you can always upgrade to the BSA 19" like you did with KI), proportions are correct, art is accurate to the real cab, Molded coin doors, and as an added bonus the light up buttons. Both decks are the same size, so you not gaining any extra room with Shaq Jam. Save that $$$ for something else.
Thank you Nick, I think 19” upgrade and a booster underneath will give it an XL feel. It would take an incredible deal for me to get Shaq.
That person clapping in Best Buy was weird. What's even weirder is no alarm sound. That NBA Jam in Best Buy is old. I wonder how much they would sell that display model for since its no longer sold. I'm hoping we get some good Christmas in July sales. We know what sales are real and sales that are fake 😂

Go with the Shaq Jam, $2k is alot of money. You can buy a Shaq Jam and a Arcade1up Star Wars Pinball for less than the ALP.
I’m still undecided man, been thinking about it all morning. Tron in Racine, Shaq Jam or ALP.
You can play it on the PS5 also... don't know if you want to spend that much... then maybe buying PS4 is a better deal.

New Pack Dropped is pretty sweet, esp brothers and arms and borderlands, I sent a few pictures, Brothers in arms SSF integration is really good, guns, bullet noises, pretty sweet! AngelO left alone to play them today haha.

Ok....PD7 love you too death bro.... BUT I've NEVER PAID FULL PRICE for any arcade 1up or atgames..all this shit is old... And there's only been like 3 a1up cabs that haven't come back..... As for The alp just get the HD with a good pc and it'll probably look better that the standard 4k all most people do is hook up a pc anyway🤷🏿♀️ the switch with the intec mod is the way to go with mvc2...
Oh that was great price on that massage chair... When making videos everyday they get repetitive.. So try to keep it fresh! Especially when the same 10 people, make the same damn video, how many videos do we need about coin doors, about in line risers..etc.. Getting boring especially for me I've been in this since 2019..a1up hasn't changed and it's crazy to see y'all think they will... With that being said good luck bro!

Honestly when the NFL Blitz drops to the $300 range, I'll probably snag it. And like I mentioned before I mainly want it because Dan the Man Marino (my favorite all time athlete) is on the artwork. Then of course I'll PC mod it. lol You cracked me up when you showed your lawn mowing shoes. Well you fit in at Menard's at least. :P

@fourthhorseman04 unfortunately the 2 Ollies closest to me are a little over 2 hours away. I’ve never made it to one yet, they don’t seem to have 1up everytime I’ve called them.
The enthusiast in me says go ahead with the ALP 4K purchase. The penny pincher in me says wait a bit more. Especially with potential sales happening next month. I loved that Sheldon Cooper Flash! May go pick it up myself :)

ALP 4K , ALP 4K, ALP 4K. your eyes are getting heavy. Take out that credit card and buy. Alot of games on each unit and you can easily OTG and play other games. Tmclosky played pacman on his, as an example. now open your eyes and buy, buy, buy. kidding. do what you feel will make you happy . even the cat will enjoy laying on top when your at work. have a great day.

Go for the Atgames 4K. The SSF kit on those Zaccaria tables makes it surprisingly realistic. I love my Arcade1ups but the Attack From Mars 4K is amazing!!

I had an enlightenment … FOMO is not about the product, it’s about the price you pay for the product.
And really the price doesn’t matter in the long run as long as it not exorbitant.
Example, let’s say you squirrel away $125 a week for your home arcade hobby. As long as you are healthy and working, that flow is constant. So all the issue you really have is the rate of when you get what you get if you don’t get a deal. But in the end, you still acquire all that you really want no matter what.
Buy the VPIN when you are ready. Then Start accumulating funds for the next purchase.
Missing deals may delay a bit the purchase time but it doesn’t derail it.
This is a marathon and all a deal does is give you jumpstart on the next purchase timeline.
So never worry about missing out.
Everything is available if you have the funds to pay the price the seller wants to get.

Don't buy the 1TB ps4 model try to find a 500GB model. Those are cheaper plus you don't need all that extra memory. You're literally buying a ps4 for one game so that'll be my advice to you. Also I know you don't want the switch but the switch has arcade archives plus multiple arcade collections.

@PDX7 I have a couple of switches, a ps4, and ps5. Ps4 is stronger spec wise I feel like nintendo switch has more arcade games and beat em ups which you like so I would say switch.

I did pre-order the ALP and love it! I’m going to buy the control panel on the sale for 150 myself. I want to get the sound system upgrade, but I’m doing a hard pass because I have a deal. Worked out to go pick up Burger time, Centipede Legacy, Neo Geo, KI Pro and the 365 coin pusher for killer deal

@@PDX7 I pre-ordered day one because I never had a pinball machine before. They offered the upgraded sound kit a little bit after I pre-ordered. I thought about adding it, but then changed my mind. I wanted to see how I like the pinball table, which I love and it sounds great now. I will eventually add the upgraded sound system.
