Man these bball podcasts are better than the games now. The stories, the real trash talk, the nostalgia, I’m here for it. Keep up the great work guys! 👏🏽👌🏽🏀
Tim Hardaway is a Heat Legend. I met him on Ocean Drive during his playing days and he's a REAL ONE on, and off the court. I met Keith Askins during Meet the Heat prior to the season. It was packed, and I had my 7yr old with me, and people where getting out of hand being pushy. Keith had seen my situation telling people to chill, and he stopped singing autographs, stood up, and came over by me and asked if I, and my 7yr old were OK. He then announced to everyone that he didn't want to see pushing especially where kids are involved or he and the other players would stop signing. Everything from that moment was on point. For those who don't know Keith Askins, he was the Udonis Haslem of the Heat before there was a UD.
MANN WHO WOULD OF THOUGHT MIKE MILLER AND UD WOULD HAVE A PODCAST 😂😂😂😂😂😂 MAN SUPER UNDERRATED FR FR !!😂😂 THIS PODCAST P , JJ REDICK OLD MAN AND THE 3 ARE TOP 3 NO LIE
Man U.D. and Mike Miller came in the podcast game dropping straight heat 🔥 this show has quickly become one of my favorites, salute to the O.G. Tim Hardaway created his own signature crossover!
Shoutouts OGs! Would you guys ever do a segment about OGs Education, talking about classic games and series that young fans should watch to capture the magic of basketball in the OG era?
Love the OG Tim Hardaway. I still have my Warriors Starter jacket I bought in 1992 because of Run TMC. Got to see them play at the old Spectrum in the winter of 1993. “I got skillz!”
I know it’s a lot of people saying they love the Miami stories but I’m not a Miami fan but I LOVE this podcast they are killing it. Like I just love basketball stories from my era. The OGs are the new standard
I'm from the Chi and remember the early 90's when time played in my neighborhood Pro Ams in Leclaire Park. Omg them was the days with Brian Leech, Randy Brown, Pete Myers, Kevin Duckworth, Kelvin Upshaw, Mitchell JJ Anderson, Ken Norman, Juwann Howard, Michael Finley, Chris Webber, Tom Kleinsmith, Kenny Battle, etc....
Dude, Luka will never be the point guard that hardaway was. A lot of empty points for Luka. And he doesn't make his team mates better. Pls pull the tapes on hardaway. then watch an entire Luka game and you will see a ball hog, no defense playing selfish player.
@@garys3010 Selfish player? 10 assists per game. He gets dimes like it is spare change in his pocket. We all know he can score 70, but he doesn't, because he sets people up.
So right about the Father-Son thing...my son just got his 1st D1 offer, but to the point where he unfollowed me on social media for a while 😅 cause I'm pushing for him but I was super tough, delicate balance
Thanks for having the Man with the Killer Crossover!! Straight Bay Area Legend!!! Run TMC!! As a youngster we use to fight over number 10 because of him
Excellent interview guys. Keep it up. Tim and Zo started this process with PatvRiley.Shout out for bringing up Keith Askins and his impact on this franchise!
As a life long Miami Heat Fan - just wanted to say Thanks you guys ( UD ) ( Mike M ) from bringing Us this Podcast what a blessing to relive so many great heat moments. 🙏🏽
Nba live 98 was the 1st basketball game i ever played at 9 & tim hardaway was on the cover good times dude had 1 of the top 3 crossovers ever people dont mention him enough
My favorite podcast to watch about basketball, heat culture, and sports because heat CULTURE is all around every sport in Dade County I’m very happy to see you guys doing what you do 305 all day!
The insight we get into the game now, both from the older eras and today, thanks to the new media format taking off, is truly amazing. We're lucky as hell to live today and get this. Grew up watching Timmy's Heat, one of my all-time favorites and he's always such a joy to listen to.
40:23 that’s facts Mike always waiting for the new episode! 🔥 Shoutout to the crossover king Tim Hardway Sr Heat legend 10 will always be his number 💯 og of the game!
This man was my all time fave growing up. Da killer cross over/ utep 2 step was crazy. Been trying matter if ever since. He’s the reason why I follow the dubs and the Heat.
Awesome Podcast I know it doesn’t matter to yall but I’m a Soldier deployed in the Middle East and yall have gained a viewer. Making my day feel like I was back home God Bless yall.
My uncle lived around the corner from Tim in the late 90s. I remember how excited I was when we went by his house and saw the security shutters up because that meant he was home. He used to ride Tim Jrs bike with Tim Jr on his shoulders.
As a die hard Knicks fan and in my prime in the 90's, I knew there was still animosity between the players, lol. Those series literally from TIPOFF of game 1 they were playing like it was a game 7. Best series every year, always went to a deciding game. Great times
Got the pleasure of meeting Tim at a TGI Friday's in Orlando years ago. The server said he was with his family, so we didn't wanna bother him so we told the server to buy him whatever drink he wanted. After they finished eating he walked over to our table and thanked us then talked for a minute or 2. Was a cool guy. We were HEAT fans from Miami since 88' so to meet our franchise player was awesome. We always tell our other buddy who couldn't make it that day that we met Tim Hardaway. He's jealous cuz he jokes that we met Jim Hardaway..not Tim...lol
You handled that with class...Just buying him a drink. As a grown man, I always thought it weird seeing other grown men chasing guys for autographs. It's just odd.
Tim is a real one! Glad to see he also believes in my favorite player Scary Terry. Terry is that guy he just needs to get comfortable in that heat system.
I treasure these memories as we all lived them with you guys over the years - especially hearing all the names of past players - this is just so wonderfully done 🐊⚓🏀🤩, M. #HeatLifer ❤
Im laughing because I went to Carver High School during the Terry Cummings era. I remember lunch was a big deal. You had to eat at school, because no way you could walk all the way through the Gardens and make it back to school on time. Love seeing Tim always.
The OG, Tim, Sr, used to mow my great grandad Jack's lawn in Chicago. I was raised in Miami, so I am a Heat fan, through and through. I hope Grandpa Jack paid you better than 90s nba contracts 😂
Haha. That's very cool. I started being a fan of Tim when I watched him play at UTEP. I grew up in El Paso. Thought I was an early fan, but didn't know the earlier "mowing grandpa's lawn" version of Tim. 😁
Now Hardaway makes me think of KG and his comment about them two and GP at the Olympics. The 🥷’s. 😂😂. Respect to Tim. One of my favorite players growing up.
I remember being a young kid and getting excited when Keith Askins would sub in because I knew he was about to hit a three pointer. Wasn't old enough to understand he was an elite defense guy
I always picked Miami Heat on NBA Live 2000 on psx. I even put no.41 on my created player because of Glen Rice who was a Heat player in their early years that for some reason a lot of people forget.
Man these bball podcasts are better than the games now. The stories, the real trash talk, the nostalgia, I’m here for it. Keep up the great work guys! 👏🏽👌🏽🏀
I agree 100% man
I got league pass and I barely watch. Too much blowouts. The players are getting less competitive.
Facts!

Love the OG Tim Hardaway. I still have my Warriors Starter jacket I bought in 1992 because of Run TMC. Got to see them play at the old Spectrum in the winter of 1993.
“I got skillz!”
Basketball at the Spectrum was the best.
The OGs with an OG, count me in!!
I am glad they gave Mitch Richmond his flowers, I grew up in Sac and "The Rock" was my first hero.
Sad story richmond traded from Golden, barried in Sacramento
For me, this is my fav Heat player of all time. In my opinion his crossover was great, but I always thought his floater in traffic was the best ever!
You can tell that Mike Miller fans out with the guest! Love it!

Dude, Luka will never be the point guard that hardaway was. A lot of empty points for Luka. And he doesn't make his team mates better. Pls pull the tapes on hardaway. then watch an entire Luka game and you will see a ball hog, no defense playing selfish player.
