- Chatur Vimsamsa (D24) Varga Chart is one of the sixteen main vargas (divisions of a sign) described by Parasara Maharshi. Parasara states that education, knowledge of the person to be judged from the Chatur Vimsamsa occupied by planets.
Every varga chart have certain purpose to read detailed level. Chatur Vimsamsa not only about education, it’s mainly about 2nd house. It also indicates education, knowledge, it can be your primary, higher, research etc. how you able to gain knowledge & wisdom we can predict from it.
In the above video I explained how easily we can read and understand varga chart. One basic and simple rule is D24 ascendant lord must not be placed in 6,8,12 houses, Karaka for wisdom is Jupiter, and Karaka for learning is Mercury, Karaka for practice Saturn. He should be stronger then related matters will be good. You need to consider current dasha and 4th, 5th, 9th house lord of D1 & D24 how placed verify it then we can judge properly.

Sir you said Jupiter if is in retrogression, it should be directed within 16 days,
But what will happen if jupiter is normal in birth chart but in retrogression after 16 days, will it be considered as retrograde planet.
