9/10 with two out of three guesses correct. Billy Joel’s “A Matter of Trust” was the second single off of 1986’s ‘The Bridge’ album. I remember it getting picked up by the rock stations in the spring and then the single was released much late in the summer of 1986. But it wasn’t released in 1984. Billy was still releasing singles off of his ‘Innocent Man’ album in ‘84, and that was before his “Second Wind” from his midsummer 1985 greatest hits compilation. Just thought you’d like to know.
@ Thanks for enlightening me, Mike. I wasn’t aware of the Thin Lizzy album. Here, in Australia, the AC/DC song got a ton of airplay at that time, which coincided with my developing musical taste. Happy new year.
You are making a false accusation. Jailbreak was a 1976 song by Thin Lizzy, on the album titled, believe it or not, "Jailbreak". AC/DC also had Jailbreak, but that doesn't negate the fact that the quiz master is correct ...
The song jailbreak is AC/DC that sang the song in the early 1970's so you got it wrong also it was in 1976 in January also I just googled it and it showed 1976 and AC/DC was the first so you are very very wrong.
@250savage no I did that and it came up as AC/DC sang jailbreak in1976 January also it was on countdown. So you look at Google and I'm standing my ground on this I still think your research is not right.
Sweetheart, just because AC/DC also had a song called Jailbreak, does not negate the fact that Thin Lizzy also had a song titled Jailbreak in 1976 .... on the album titled .... wait for it .... JAILBREAK. No one is denying the fact that AC/DC performed a song named Jailbreak. It just so happens that Thin Lizzy did, also. The quizmaster awaits your apology.

Your “correct” answer to Q8 is wrong! Jailbreak was a 1976 hit by AC/DC.
Acc to Wikipedia, Jailbreak was a hit single off a 1976 Thin Lizzy album and a track on a 1976 AC/DC album.
@ Thanks for enlightening me, Mike. I wasn’t aware of the Thin Lizzy album. Here, in Australia, the AC/DC song got a ton of airplay at that time, which coincided with my developing musical taste. Happy new year.

Sorry, Dianne, if you search Jailbreak Thin Lizzy, you will indeed find the quiz master is correct 😮.....
@250savage no I did that and it came up as AC/DC sang jailbreak in1976 January also it was on countdown. So you look at Google and I'm standing my ground on this I still think your research is not right.
@250savage also AC/DC is a Australia rock band from The 1970's
