- Join Show Host Alan Hart as we visit the LARGEST mineral show in Europe - The Munich Show (Mineralientage München). This show is held at the end of October every year and is the last of the Four Great Mineral Shows of the year..
At the 2019 Munich Show, the Show Theme is, "He who collects, writes history" and we get A LOT of time meeting with some of the top collectors in the world and talking to them about the pieces they've brought to the show.

A whole different world, these mineral collections.
Mineral collections are of all qualities and sometimes the seemingly lower quality ones are spectacular just because they're self-collected. Or are all rare just because of the locality. Our company does focus on the super high-end part of the hobby so, quite often, you're seeing the best of the best in our films. It may feel so out there that it discourages people from collecting but our perspective is that this is just showing people the top level of specimens in the world. You don't have to collect at that level to appreciate minerals.
