It’s really funny when you announce that you won’t be picking up any plants today, just there to get some sphagnum moss. Then the opposite happens. That was really funny 😀
Thank you for taking us shopping with you! Since my daughter moved from Washington to Idaho I shop alone, so it's fun to feel like I have a shopping partner lol. Im definitely jealous of your big box stores... the ones here don't have much. 😊
of course! I love to see what's available and showing the plants. I just need to stop buying them lol. We do have a great selection here so very lucky!
What i love about this type of videos is that I learn more about plant names and how they are potted and prices. I love how lush houseplants are being sold in there compared here in our country. Appreciated..
A friend of mine just had to throw away a Sodiroi that had mosaic virus but was sold as variegated, and now I think everything that you don't usually see a variegated form of has mosaic virus 😂 really hope that that isn't the case for your Orbifolia and that it is just a unicorn of a plant! 💚🦄
I love these videos!!! It feels like we’re shopping with you. Definitely makes me wanna go to my local big box store and look at plants 😅🩷 love your voice!!
I love watching your videos. I have learned so much and have actually grown my collection and have learned how to take care of my plant babies so much better. Love watching your videos
Any update with the Orbifolia? Does it still seem like variegation? If so, that is an awesome find! I’m always keeping my eye out for variegation at big box stores lol
The variegation looks a little strange, keep it away from the other plants in case it's mosaic. But then again I'm no expert. Really hope you got lucky with a variegated one!!
❤ I love houseplants and any other plants too 😅 Your video is awesome and I learned a lot from just watching it. Thank you for your video and blessings to you.
I got my standard peace lily for $12 at Walmart and a lady told me they were going to have to throw it away by the end of the week if no one bought it. Nothing wrong with it and it has been my most rewarding plant! It has tripled in size since I bought it at the end of February!! Now I need to be on the lookout for a platinum mist peace lily cause that is just gorgeous
My heart broke when you left that calathea Freddie 💔 😆 I think I commented before already, but I lost a lot of my prayer plants to thrips. Before I had 8, now I only have 4. Today is my birthday, so I hope they arrive today-instead of just replacing the ones I lost, I decided to get some extra. After the package arrives I think I’ll have…12 prayer plants? 13? Maranta, calathea/goeppertia, and ctenanthe. Thank you for taking us along on this journey! I hope you find your string of dolphins! 💐
The elephant ears is a Colocasia black beauty! The smaller leaves are green but the more mature ones turn black if they have the right light exposure. I love my Colocasias collection they like to be always humid so I put them in a self watering pot in a chunky mix and they thrive!
Love the platnium mist! I have one in my cart from green escape but it would be nice to get a bigger one! So so pretty! You will be happy with your leafjoy purchase! I think they are worth the money! Happy for you :)
They are all beautiful plants!! I always get sidetracked by the plants too when at big box stores!! Be careful with the spathiphyllum because I've heard it's very toxic to pets. I have a friend who cuts the "flowers" off because even the pollen from it is toxic. It's worth checking into.
It's so funny how these stores very from region to region. My stores don't have half this inventory. I haven't really seen anything "new" in months, sadly. I did just get my import certificate so I'll be checking that out soon!
ooh nice!! I like going to show what's available but it's a lot of the same stuff all the time. The stores here are pretty good though but so crazy how different they can all be.
I like the Zebra plant, because the pattern matches very good with the pot. 😁 I think the Orbifolia could have a mosaic virus too. So please be careful and sterilize if you cut something off from her and use the scissors for another plant.
I actually recently found a variegated green maranta. Cue my husband regretting that he told me I could pick up anything randomly variegated without touching base with him first. Lolz
Looking back on this video and I noticed a couple of times that you mentioned Njoy/Pearls & Jade. Are they the same plant? I thought they were 2 different types of pothos. Building my pothos collection so I want to verify before I buy both. :)
Ive been waiting to buy a birkin! $14 is a good price the last time i seen them by me at hd it was $30. Do you feel like they need more light than a brazil or a lemonlime? There my only other philodendron
That's so weird to me that plants come together with ceramic pots, baskets etc. What if I don't like the pot they come in?! :D In Poland, Europe plants come in nursery pots only and then you buy ceramic pots separately, there's a wide selection
Bromliad and syngonium are not a good mix!! Syngonium are thirstier plants while bromliads can go longer without water. They really shid research before potting together. On plus side, u cud repot separately an have 2 plants!
I was the same Zebra plant when I was at Lowe’s the other day and almost bought it. How funny! I love them but I struggle with them. How is the one you already have?
The planters at Lowe’s are cute, but I’m tired of the fact they think we care more about them than the plants. Cute little tags about Living Trends, but nothing at all about the plants and their care. The Lowes and Home Depots nearest my home in San Antonio do not have anywhere near that many plants. I’m envious!

I'm always excited watching video of people going to plant shop in other countries
What i love about this type of videos is that I learn more about plant names and how they are potted and prices.

Your voiceovers are perfect. And I LOVE your soft voice. I'm able to watch you before bed and it's very soothing. 🥰

I was worried about the same thing!!!
If that’s variegation like wow what a find!!!! I hope it really starts to show off in your care!!
I am loving the flip flop part! 😂 Great video once again. Thanks for sharing a Melissa ❤
Yes I am hooked on Caladiums! I have bought so many this year!
Platinum Mist Spath. Love mine!
I love these videos!!! It feels like we’re shopping with you. Definitely makes me wanna go to my local big box store and look at plants 😅🩷 love your voice!!
Thank you 🥹🫶

Thank you SO much 🥹 I love hearing that I've helped!

Nice purchases, you have very good taste in plants to say the least. I share your appreciation of variegation. Great job and thanks.
Loved the shopping trip. Thank you for taking us along.
Awesome find with the orbifolia !

The peace lily is really beautiful
Those fig trees are awesome😊
So big!!

I found a domino peace lilly at Home Depot last week for $13!
Is a beautiful plant, and cute pot👍

that Orbifolia was gorgeous 😍
It's so pretty!! I'm excited to have it!
That first calathea you picked, i just bought one the other day 😅😅
You wouldn’t be sad if you got the rhipsalas. They are so fun that grow. 😊
+the zebra is really pretty and very cheap! Well done💚🌱☘️🌵💚
I just found a monstera adansonii at Lowes with a few variegated leaves
Wow!
That's amazing!! Great find!
Sometimes you just have to buy the plants too!!! 💚
Nice haul!

That ficus is beautiful.

I seen a bunch of variegated maranta at my local nursery a couple days ago but I already was spending so much I couldn't get one😢

Are you still a fan of Fluval stratum
Any diff between for tanks and plants

Did you bring back plants from Florida?
Do you have an athome store near you? They may have some planter options that would work for you.
I was the same Zebra plant when I was at Lowe’s the other day and almost bought it. How funny! I love them but I struggle with them. How is the one you already have?
I let that one go but I do miss it! I'm happy to have this one. I don't know what got over me this day lol

Wow! What a beautiful Orbifolia 😍 it does look different color from the norm. Glad you had a good time in Fla. 🫶🏼💚
Thank you! It's was nice to get away for a few days :) It does look a bit lighter! I'm excited to see how it grows!

Due to my own lack of self-control, I’ve been ordering my moss for curbside pickup. If I don’t see it, I don’t feel bad if I don’t (or do!) get it ;).
Why don’t you order string of dolphins
Sad plants need homes too.
of course :)
Mommy
Enough with the Calathea!
That plant you didn’t know is called a Clusia ✌️
Thank you!!
