I love this, never seen anything like it! I work in a herringbone parlour here in Australia, fits 10 cows per side, 20 in total. We milk only Holsteins, too. I love the way you interact and move your girls! Lovely calm herd. Nice vid!

I reckon that’s totally awesome. All nutrients going back to the system. And compliments a planned grazing system.

How good is this. I found it cold enough in a shed years ago. Out in the open would be hard.

How well does this work in rain?

How long did it take for the cows to get used to getting milked in the mobile? And is your cell count very low? And how about mastitis? I very much like the idea I've seen them on small farms in tropical counties where the weather was hot and it worked superbly. I was just curious to know would or could this system be used twice a day and in not so favourable climates like some parts of Europe where the weather is wet and windy, and summers are ok? sorry for all the questions.

Swaving in the Netherlands, Cremers in Belgium. Also Dairy master has something mobile, but not galvanised like the others.

Can you pasture your cows the hole year round in NZ? Because here in the Netherland's we have are dairy cows in the winter in a shed because it's just to wet on field's. And i read on your blog of september 2016 that you say that people don't need to start there own micro dairy farm. So how do you think now about that? Is it now just possible or you would recommend me to don't start a micro dairy.

Yes in New Zealand they are all year outside. Most farmers have only milking she'd(parlour).Only few of them have wintering shed and even they didn't used. Most of them are spring calving in 2 monts.
      God bless you!

Grazed cows and milked them in a double 5 herringbone. would never milk cows in that setup. cows being grazed are always loose, trying to milk them from behind with no manure trough would be unsanitary and unpleasant to say the least. got coated many times, not a pleasant experience.
