A 'hands-free' Eurorack synth piece using a tiny 3u Eurorack system.
Melody
Plaits in Waveshaping Oscillator mode into Blades Ch1.Plaits Morph modulated by Zadar channel 1 which, along with Plaits Trig is triggered by the Gate from SIG. Via Veils 1 for level control.
Bass and Bell
Rings in Green Modal Resonator mode. Damping controlled by Pitch CV to make bass notes longer. Via Veils 1 for level control.
Whistle
Chainsaw into Blades Ch. 2 into Beads.
The ramp from Zadar channel 4 rises throughout the piece, modulating Blades CH1 Freq, Rings Brightness, Beads Mix, Chainsaw detune, Chainsaw Shape.
Cloud reverb from Big Sky added at the mixing desk.
Sequenced in C Minor by Stochastic Inspiration Generator.
Audio captured live via Yamaha MG12XU USB mixer into Audacity as a Stereo master (no overdubbing, post mixing or processing apart from some compression). Monitored on Yamaha HS8s and Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro cans.
Case: Eowave.
Video shot in 4K on a Lumix DMC-GH5S with an f1.7 25mm Lumix lens.
Pulled together and video edited in DaVinci Resolve Studio 18.
