Bobby Michaels went home to be with the Lord on March 31, 2009. I remember him, for he was a humble man with a pleasant disposition. Also, I had the opportunity to fellowship with him when he ministered at Lighthouse Evangelism, Singapore, on a few Sundays spread over many years. This day, I listened to his songs again. My Redeemer is Faithful and True was his favorite. Brother Bobby, rest well in the arms of the Lord.
Bobby Michaels was such a Godly man who spent his life using his gift sharing God with the world. We met him at the Christian Artist's Seminar of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado. Later, we had the blessing of having him minister to our church and it was the most wonderful worship that took place there.
Bobby Michaels faithfully served soldiers and their families in West Germany 1981 to 1983 while we were in Bad Kissingen 2nd 11th Armored Cavalry Reg. Bobby truly moved and inspired our soldiers familes and me. His soul was in every song. Bobby you were faithful and true Love you Bobby
He was still in Germany when I went on a REFORGER Exercise in January of 1986. I loved talking and sharing music with him. He did some concerts that I attended during my 90 days I was there.
Yes, I have my ups and downs in my life, yet my Redeemer faithful and true. It touched my heart when I heard that song. Understanding His mercy, grace, faithful and especially love. I am going to use this song for my memorial service when my Lord calls me home.
