This was soooooo good but I did tweak it to make it cinnamon twist I added cinnamon instead of garlic powder into the dough and when It was done cooking i brushed it with butter and sprinkled cinnamon sugar on the front and back of the twist and the bread was so fluffy and delicious 🤤🤤
this tasted amazing! first time baking with yeast and the bread was so fluffy and baking it/ needing the dough was a lot easier than i thought. they tasted delicious.
So I made these...the excitement of seeing the dough double in size is amazing. I didn't have garlic powder so I put in freshly minced garlic. Also instead of basil I put in parsley. And don't forget to lessen the amount of salt of you don't have unsalted butter. I love this recipe. Will try again for sure.

I bought one of those Sil Pat Baking Mat's & I put it into my Perfferated Jelly Roll Pan, And the Garlic Knots, Bread Sticks, & even a Pizza, Bake's Fantastic using this setup, The Mat works great for any Bread making also Just a FYI etc. BTW It Eliminates the expense of any Parchment Paper also.
I like your Bowl Method, Of mixing the Flour, Being new of working with Flour, I Learned that I should of never wear any, Dark Clothes, while trying to knead Flour by hand, When I was done trying, I wound up, Looking like " Casper The Friendly Ghost." & The rest of the kitchen Stuff also, Just thought you would enjoy this Etc.

3/4 water is 0.75 of a cup right? In your video it looks like you added more than 3/4. I still followed your 3/4 cup of water and I didn’t add a lot of flour otherwise it’s not stretchy at all- after it doubled its size it was so sticky I added flour again and I guess wait till it doubles?? Is it suppose to be sticky ?
I know it shouldn’t have taken me two hours to make these 😂 I am new to baking so I’m really slow going still. Just learned I have Celiac so I had to make mine gluten free. I added butter and some shredded cheese to my dough and it’s cooking right now. Smells so good I’ll come back and let you know ab the taste! (Crossing my fingers bc sometimes gluten free is nastyyyyy)

There’s nothing wrong with chewy garlic knots if that’s how you like them. Each person has their own tastes and that’s not a bad thing. I hope you’ll give these a try. 😊

Easy simple recipe and they're pretty tasty, I added a step and lined the inside of the rope with pizza mozzarella cheese before tying them in a knot.

It is .75 cups. You will want to add flour until it isn’t super sticky anymore. 😊😊
