THANK YOU
The brain on this dude, he remembers the lyrics from 20 plus yrs in sequence. Stellar career, blessings all.
No dance hall redim not make on more
Well they gotta perform the songs often so they gotta rem them.
He performs so many times it, if he dont remember then u know he getting old, but I hear Capleton said he dont even remember some of him verses for some of his older songs and I understand cause it has been over 20-something years so I can see with him u know ..
Why wouldn't he remember those days different from now songs used to do in one take so you have to have the song locked before recording a nuh like now weh u can voice a song line fi line

Say what u want about Beenie, u can’t take away from his musical genius and his many accomplishments. Definitely a column in the genre
#4eva
Agree 💯‼️
Beenie been burning down the place from the tender age of 10, he's born talented
One of the columns in dancehall genre.
King of dancehall mad cobra.
Beenie man made a point that might have down over our heads (pause) when he said that every artist buss young, which is saying to me that most artist was born with music instilled in them embedded in their dna, while these younger artist just get up one day and decide that they want to do music. I think that’s a big problem with dancehall music because the younger artist is not studying the craft. So they will never really respect the older artist cuz if you study your craft you have to study your predecessors.
Facts
I agree 💯
And thats y hes still the undisputed king till today...killer said it in an interview with winford williams..that beenie is the most crafty artist he ever come up against thats y he bounty killer couldnt kill him...if you dnt study and knw you craft u won't last in the music business..

Yes! He’s very personable, approachable and charismatic!
I've heard differently from people who work in hotels. He's very egotistical.
Like Wayne Wonder said “you can’t bring foreign to foreign”, youths should hold up the reggae culture and stop TRAP it.
Big up Di King, YA
Interviews hit different when u are amongst a legend nothing better than learning the history
Love Beenie. Musically, you are one of the very best. The most down to earth artist. I visited Jamaican a few years back and saw him at the beach . I asked to take a picture and he actually took pictures with me without hesitation. Thanks Beenie!

This is an example of a host who needs to know music and the guest's whom interview with. Knowledge is key.... the history of reggae and dancehall music and the pioneers whose music and songs makes and paved the ways for the gen z and millennials and even the elders to still heed and know that Jamaica Reggae music and Dancehall music are BRAND Jamaica and we need to learn how to work together, build our nation's music gallery so nations and countries all over the world can travel to our Island in the Sun to be more educated on and to know more and correct themselves to the jamaican culture, food, people, and best of all our MUSIC and the genres therein
Agree he’s doing a lot of listening, I also believe they need way more space in between them…😅

When Beenie Man says ego 1:34:21 , he means the character "Igor" from Frankenstein ....
Respect to Beenie, he's a legendary figure and has the resume to be the no1 dj of all time. However if memory serves me correct Killla didn't need No Doubt to push him into the overseas market. Killa did songs with Special Ed, The Fugees, Busta Rhymes, Mobb Deep, Noreaga etc long before Hey Baby in 2002. Killa as well as running the scene locally had the best international collabs of any artist in the 90s.
