I love watching your channel, I’m new to it, but I just find watching you so entertaining and calming. At 54, I can see myself just enjoying Bangkok, living alone enjoying life, for now I will vicariously live through you. Enjoy your Sunday, God bless ❤you
I love this video! I am older and retired so I really do not have a routine. I am also in a small town that I do not feel connected with the people, so I am not connected with community which is something that is very important to me. I have been very board and depressed for months due to being by myself way too much. I am leaving at the end of this month (February) to a different Mexican State. I am hoping my adventures through Mexico will allow me the connection that I need. Your Videos encourage me to strive for a better quality of life.
Being retired doesn't mean your life ends.... Try to explore new places, meet new friends as many as you can...., and don't forget to take good care of yourself to continue your journey.... From Vietnam!😊
@@NgocNguyen-bg9fy Thank you for trying to encourage me, however, I did not realize I gave the impression that my life is over. That thought never entered my conscious or subconscious. I also mention that 99.9% of my problem right now is the town I am currently living in. I did say I am moving the end of this month. That is making a positive change. You also talk about exploring, again, if you read what I wrote and I quote, “I am hoping my adventures through Mexico will allow me the connection that I need”. Yes, it is very important for me to take care of myself. Thank you for that encouragement.
Great morning routine. I automatically wake up at 5:00am even though I am retired. I start with thanking and praising God for blessing me with a new day and opportunity to get life right. I stretch as I swing my legs and feet over the side of my bed. I do ankle twists then stand and do toe and heel raise ups. I like drinking water to break my night fast. I try to keep fruit (pineapple, blueberries, star fruit, apples, pears, oranges) and vegetables in the fridge for my morning snack and/or breakfast. I like putting a bed of kale or shredded lettuce in a bowl and top with fruit. As I get into the morning around 7:00 I usually workout while listening to the news (cbs morning). What I described was also my routine while I lived in my RV. I truly miss living in my Rv but love my house too.
My routine is similar. I wake up between 3 and 4 am. The first thing I do is make my bed. Then, I use the bathroom, hydrate, bible study, check emails, and practice my French.
I practice the miracle morning savers too. It’s been life changing for this former night owl. I now get up around 5:00/5:30A to begin my day with silence and gratitude , bible reading, prayer, journaling, meditation, and a quick yoga session (occasionally). I exercise at midday during my lunch break. If I don’t journal in the morning, I will in the evenings along with some reading. My bedtime is at 8:00P and no later than 9:00P on the weekdays. Thanks for sharing!
wow I haven't caught up since van life, makes me so happy to see this peace and joy, so inspirationa; to push myself to prioritize self care and mental health. sending such warm vibrations your way
Do you ever go out and explore the city? Thailand looks like a great place, but it would be nice to see the city landscape and the vibe of the people in the city…
Aloha Ms. Antoinette Yvonne, Happy Magnanimity Monday to you in BKK! Welcome and enjoy being a part of the 5am Club - truly the magic hour before the sun rises, to be with/in self! To continued optimum health, living, thriving, not merely surviving! Mahalo for sharing your journey as a courageous melanin rich woman!!! Love, Laughter and bountiful bows!
Love how good you are looking these days. I've been a subbie since your channel popped up in my feed about two years ago, I think. You have bounced back so well from your recent ailments. I prayed for your recovery. Your mom and new step-dad sound so happy. May God bless you and keep you guys daily. (P.S.-I never thought of traveling to Thailand, but if an opportunity arises I'm jumping on it for sure!) 😊
Hi Antionette! I have been following you for a few months now and so love your ExPat Journey. You truly encourage me. Among my favorite episodes are with your Mom on her last day, the tour of your friend’s luxury condo and the episode where you found a Non-Denominational church to attend. My wife and I are coming to Bangkok October 19th ish and will be visiting Chang Mai and Phuket as I am looking to leave the US in the next year. You came along just when I needed the help on EVERYTHING! I pray God’s continued blessings on your life, dreams and journey, Ashe sista Ashe!!🙏🏽
I thought I was the onlyy one that does that every morning. Every morning I give God , His glory For another day.I give thanks then I send daily motivational and encouraging text. We have to encourage one another. It also helps me to stay encouraged. Be Blessed Sis. We can't do nothing without God.🙏🏽😍❤
Good morning, Antoinette from the 🇺🇸, Atlanta, GA. It's 10:17 AM, Monday morning! You and I have two things in common: Your glasses (Vooglam - the last pair) and MC Hammer jumpsuit. 😉 I love watching your videos because you give sistas encouragement to know that "life only has boundaries if we limit ourselves." Hmmm... I like that! 🤗I made up it up and have to write it down for keepsake under my poetic name, Reecie's Pieces. 😉 Keep thriving and living your best life. I hope one day for us to meet.🤗 Have a blessed week!
I love your channel and style. I'm also in love with your bag. Would you mind sharing where you got it? Also, you make me want to live abroad. Thank you for allowing me to live vicariously through you.
Popped back in during my downtime to see how you are sis! Glad to see you are doing well. 🙏🏽🥰 In my universe, I have to plan things using a grouping process if that makes sense because in my city I depend on public trans which can be difficult. Every outside task or errand has to be grouped according to location, availability of the service etc. Inside tasks are check listed and is best attacked between 5am and 1pm.. Afternoon hours if I am not at my physical place of work is spent doing something I love. Reading, cooking, sitting on my porch etc. Loving your content and attitude. Take care❤ be back again soon.
this is the second video I watch and I already love your channel. that sequence of takes as of the moment that jazz tune started to play was wonderful and very soothing to watch, and gosh, you have such a beautiful view from your bedroom! keep up the good work!
I loooooove that desk! I need a desk like that! Hidden away and then you can take it out and raise it...I want one! lol. I have never been a morning person and luckily in my later years, I'm 48, I've been able to take my morning slow and not wake up to an alarm. My brain is not ready to do anything productive until AT LEAST 9AM! lol
two words: Gut Biome, see how you can reset it using nutrition...I'm referring to your skin healing journey. I truly appreciate you and your channel. You are a "curator of experiences", and I'm learning quite a bit from your channel.
Setting the tone of vitality and achievement when you workout in the morning is exactly what I will get back to tomorrow. Your video reminded me of my Why & now it’s time to get back to it. Thank you!!
Hey Girl!!! Great am routine my is similar.. also I have been doing korean skin care for a while... would love to share some awesome products with you!!
Enjoyed the video🥰 but don't have the patience to read 😂 (it's like watching a feign movie with subtitles....and I know I have missed out on some good movies, as well as some insightful comments in this video 😢)
I love that you can go straight to the gym in the am. I have a stillness routine as well. I only wish "our" people realize that sunscreen is NOT for "us". We melanated people are to suck up as much Sun as we possibly can. We were sold lies. They say use it, but they never say who shouldn't. Anywho Dennette!!!
I only wish that our people understand that sunscreen is essential for everyone, regardless of skin color. While melanated individuals do have a natural advantage against UV rays, it doesn't mean we are immune to the potential harm caused by the sun. Sunscreen plays a crucial role in protecting against skin cancer, premature aging, and other damage associated with prolonged sun exposure. It's not about avoiding the sun but ensuring that our skin stays healthy in the long run. So, for all of "our" people, regardless of melanin levels, incorporating sunscreen into the routine is a wise move for overall skin well-being. Stay radiant and take care!
@@AntoinetteYvonne It would be a lively and interesting topic to cover. Personally, I am considering RV life around the world. I know its a thing in Europe and that is where I am headed next.

Quick question..Why is the washer outside the unit? Hope that's not a crazy question.
Units are small in general here in Bangkok city. So to maximize space, most washer and dryers are outside.
