Unboxing the TYMA TF-28E acoustic guitar. This one's based on the Martin OM-28 in some aspects. For what it's worth, the inclusions, build quality, and sound...This might be one of the best OM-28 copies we have today if you don't have t splurge for a Martin!
Recorded with a (1) Focusrite CM25 condenser mic positioned near the body and soundhole and (2) plugged direct
Both signals going to a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 audio interface
Light room reverb added on post

Straight from the box ganto set up or need pa set up?
Playable naman out of the box. But best to do an additional fine tuning according to preference and playing style. I still set this one up after getting it.
May EQ adjustment pa po ba kayo nung nirecord to o direct na sa interface with flat settings?
Adjustment lang sa volume para mag-balance yung left and right na level ng direct saka mic'd sound.

For the TF-28, may onboard Fishman Ellipse Matrix Blend pickup na sya. Action and setup still needs some work out of the box. Yung sa demo video ay naka setup na po sya doon.

Yes and yes :) dalawang model yung OM ng Tyma, TF-12 and TF-28... Yung TF-28 ang may hardcase.

Sir kaya ba yan tumapat sa om guitars ng martin?
Sa experience ko handling a few Martins sa shop.. If we're talking about similar-priced Martins, mga Road series and X-series, I'd go for Tyma. Mas maganda tunog saka mas solid at stable ang kahoy. Pero if we're talking about Martin's Standard series, Authentic series, Modern Deluxe series, and other top of the line models, ibang usapan yun.
At 46k, the Tyma TF-28 is not "cheap" by our standards, pero it punches way above its pricetag in terms of value. A lot better than other bigger brands in the same price range. :)
Very good sounding guitar. What were the stock strings installed, 11s or 12s? Thanks.
Stock strings were Elixir Phosphor Bronze 12-53
