The wife did right! So did the dad! I dated a drunk for two years and he would rather drink then go to work or spend time with me and my daughter! He died last year of liver failure if I would have stayed with I'd be a widow now! So I'm glad I didn't marry him we're better off!😢

I’m proud of John for doing the right thing by getting help with his drinking problem. Overcoming alcoholism is not easy. I haven’t experienced what it’s like to be an alcoholic, and I hope I never will, but I can say that I do know that it’s never easy to overcome addiction. It’s gonna take a long time before you are able to get your life back together. It’s a good thing that John’s dad was able to talk some sense into him and John then began to become sober. And I’m also glad that the wife didn’t accept him back into her life or their daughter’s life immediately, which not only demonstrates what I said about it not being easy to overcome addiction to alcohol, but it also shows that she’s still upset about John making her miss out on a really important client for her career. As long as John stays sober and doesn’t drink in the long-term, he may be able to win back his wife’s and daughter’s trust back.
