After dropping the rails, lowering tire psi, messing with tune just a bit (I need to learn some more and play with the preset tunes in floaty)- this board is amazing.
Great speed and customizibility.

Thank you so much for not using the AI voice. Great review dude ❤
@Corn8bit yea i got alot of complaints on the previous video 😅
Appreciate the review and wish I was there riding too. Great content.
@@breezeey9113 thanks. For sure, Im in SD and would like to meet more people to ride with. I seem to always miss the group rides
So tempted. Thanks for the information
It's a great value for a onewheel device. I definitely recommend it
I had the same problem with the fender rubbing on my ADV1 with standard rail. I lifted the fender base by using rubber grommets (or any spacer would work) and longer bolts. The fender cleared the stock tire fine. I’ve since replaced it with a GOAT tire and I no longer have to use the grommets. I think the stock tire has an extremely boxy profile which rubs the fender when lowered. With an Enduro or other tire, I think the fender would be fine. Thanks for the review!
Awesome! Thanks for the tip
Merci pour cette review et pour toutes les informations données ainsi que ton avis personnel
@@electricstyl-euc Avec plaisir, merci d'avoir regardé
Thanks, great review! Can't wait for the range test and uphill climb!
I was a bit surprised to see range in this video - would imply range be around 25milea, while Tonys web page states 40.5mile range...
Good point. I'll try and do a range test with fully charged battery.
the battery life on that thing is sweet, could ride for hours! think this is the first real review of this board online.
Yea its amazing. I think it would take about 4 hours of straight riding to use it all.
Looking forward to more tests and hopefully comparisons version one. What's that ticking noise? Sounds like you're Valve stem is still hitting
🤙🏼
@@MrJoefoefrombuffalo ill try and find the time to do a range and hill test soon. As well as some trail rides.
Yea the ticking noise is valve stem. I had to shave down the block. I initally thought it was just the mag handle
@TaylorG901 I agree should have a different type of stem. I've had the same problem on version 1.
What is that clicking? Valve stem?
Since it’s pre-programmed can you just connect it to the floaty app?
@Oneeyedoyster yea but check out surfdados video, linked in description. There's a few recommended setting changes in vesc
what is the max speed you can achieve with ADV2 ? 32mph ?
@superdhetz For flat land maybe a 1 or 2mph higher and probably a few more mph if going down hill 🤷♂️
@TaylorG901 wow its fast enough , so it can do 35 ? Without tilt back ?
@superdhetz Down a hill, im assuming. I havent done that though so i'm not sure. There's along down hill street i'll try to test it on eventually. Not necessarily without tiltback. When i'm hitting high 20s to 30+ i feel tiltback at times. Tiltback is smooth though and doesnt stay on when duty cycle drops. Im pretty sure tiltback is set at 85% duty cycle. Duty cycle will be lower when going down hill also
you mentioned the floaty discord. can someone send a link ? thx

I meant to say floathweel 😅
What’s the top speed and listed range for this thing??
@nanisantana2155 Advertised 25mph 40.5 mile range
@ with your runs do you find that accurate ?
@@nanisantana2155 top speed is higher. Not sure about range yet. Possibly 40 if not riding 30mph rhe whole time. Im going to try and do a ramge test tomorrow
The very tiny metal valve covers just clear the axle blocks when lowered, I had this same issue on my ADV1.
Apparently the adv2 valve stem is 5mm longer. Even with cap off it was scraping
I dont think you're going to hit 40mph on this since its a cannoncore and 20s voltage. 30 is a good top cruising speed for it though. You might be able to get 35mph with some more field weakening.
Floaty range is calculated as you ride and is also based on the parameters you input. Cell type, estimated range. If you arent cooking and cruise around 20mph youll probably get that 40 miles of range.
Yea maybe not, I bet it will go a bit higher down hill.
Do you know what Jeff from the float life was riding when he went over 40?
Good point on range as well
That was the vow board @@TaylorG901
@TaylorG901 when he went over 40mph he was riding 24s2p VOW GT
@chrisc790 @jerrysaylor gotcha. That makes sense. Thanks
Change it to 150/225 for motor, don't do 270, Tony has said that it would damage the esc
Change motor max current brake to -150 as well to match
i own an xr classic and onewheel gt with wtf rails, should i sell the gt for the floatwheel? i kinda want the higher speed of the floatwheel
I can't really say. I've never ridden a gt. Floatwheels a great option for going fast though
I recently got the GTS motor upgrade. I believe it was on sale in the US for $600, regular price is $800 i think? The difference is noticeable for sure, but haven't tested extensively. Upgrade will improve torque, acceleration but not so much speed. (Theres the legendary video guy tumbling down in something like 30.4mph on GT with GTS motor)
Atv2 is more powerful and likely has better range than GT, especially with GTS motor upgrade.
The floatwheel and gt aren't even remotely comparable. The adv is on a totally different level, it destroys the gt! If you are wondering how i know? It's because I have both boards.
A better cheaper option is to get an gtv board or an xrc board.
Hello I have adv pro ver1 is there a big progress to adv2 ? Is it worth it to change? Is this 20% strongly felt, etc.?
@@MrPorter1983 I've never tried an adv1 so i cant really say. I think ive seen some people with adv1 mention they have an adv2 on the way. Im guessing a video comparison will be up soon
Keep your adv, it's still awesome! Adv 2 is a small upgrade.
I have a adv 1 and have a adv 2 on the way
@rotz357 you should post a comparison
@@TaylorG901 i might, i loved the adv 1 alot. Nothing wrong with it my opinion other than i would like 5 or 10 more miles on the range. Which is sorta why i ordered the adv 2
What is duty cucle. And what happens at 100%
Duty cycle is displyed by the inner circle. Usually yellow. Also its displayed in the bottom right bar and shows the percentage. Its the amount of motor power being used. Hit 95-100 and likely nose dive
pev.dev/t/wtf-is-duty-cycle/721
Is that nose the valve stem?
The nose? I show a picture before and a clip after grinding down the block
Oh noise? Yea i thought it was the mag handle at first but it was the stem. I let Tony know and he said "I’ll make sure to forward this feedback to the motor factory so we can look into adjustments to avoid this in the future."
That’s pretty fucked that he didn’t get the valve stem clearance right.
Yea, he said he'll talk to his manufacturer. Hopefully he does for future boards
