Sir, when the diode is made reverse bias from forward bias a reverse current flows through the diode but at the same time why the voltage drop across it is still positve up to peak reverse current? please explain

I have a confusion
12:40 After Irm , how Forward voltage becomes negative with same polarity of forward current(i.e. negative)??
During recovery time voltage is increase to it's peak value and then gradually decreases and comes to a steady state.
