Let me start my story then: Having a guy bestfriend wasn't the best thing that happened to me, especially when he'll be graduating school next year. I've been thinking about this all over again, I know.. Even if I'll be alone next year, we can still keep up with each other's life online but how long will it last? I asked myself each time, over and over again. I love him since the first time we talked. I remember the memories, on how he'll become my tutor, help me with my bullies, play water balloons together. It was beautiful until I realized there's only 2 weeks left of school for 2017.... It is not enough, I kept thinking. When will I ever get to see him again? My birthday? He will not be there, hell.. Will he even remember it? Will the both of us change? Will things go awkward? Will the time for me to thank him for my everyday come finally? Or will it just be a part of my imaginary life? Looks like it's sad story time in the comments so here's mine I guess, it happened today: So a month ago I started cutting. I dislike myself because of the mistakes I make and how I keep making them. I don't want to be perfect but I just want to be good enough. I don't understand when someone calls me beautiful or smart or anything like that, I honestly don't see it but I act polite and smile even though these compliments mean nothing to me. I finally told my best friend today and she's frustrated at me now. I told her in school in front of people (so she couldn't freak out) and one of my other friends because she was curious and I don't care anymore who knows, just not my parents. I don't want to be seen as the freak or the girl who wants attention so I was scared to tell them. I hate when people worry about me so that's the last thing I wanted to do. Then my other friend said "HOW DO YOU HATE YOURSELF! You're pretty and smart.." and continued to list things. This made me cry because I appreciated her telling me this but I couldn't believe it. I wish I could but I just can't see the good in myself. So that was my vent, if you read it all then uh sorry for the long length of it. Anyways, just to clarify I'm not suicidal. I broke my compact mirror to cut a month ago and I'd probably be in a worse situation if I couldn't get my pain out.
Also to add onto my story a little, I recently lost a friend because of my mistakes. She was one of the few people I trusted but now I'm not aloud to see her. I'm not gonna explain in detail but I'm just not the best person. Plus if I told her this she'd just worry about me more because she's the kind of caring and kind person

Once I was actually super close to committing suicide but my best friend found out and she literally saved my life back there. I don't think I would have ever made it this far without her. I'm not suicidal anymore and all I can tell is that she is the one person that I can confide in and I share my problems with her and she has always helped me and been at my side. P.S please excuse my English 😋
Pixel Gal I'd love to be able to help you with words, but from your example with your friend I can see that likely wouldn't help. Can I suggest another way of dealing with emotional stress though? I started yoga recently, and it's been AMAZING. I don't know if I can even explain it. I felt a little awkward and wobbly at first, but now I find it so peaceful and relaxing and it just makes me really... happy. There's no other word for it. Next time you feel like cutting, can you do me a favor? Just try it. Give it a go and see how you feel after a few days. I really think it'll make you feel better, and it won't leave scars like cutting. There's a yoga channel I follow, called Boho Beautiful. Just Google it. ♥♥♥♥

When I met my best friend, someone redrew a picture I drew of myself, and they drew me with pink hair and a green sweatshirt. Almost a year later, and my best friend... My brother almost... Killed himself... And I've hated myself ever since. Seeing the picture of this girl almost made me cry. It was almost like he is sending me a message, for me to love myself even if he's gone.
Sad story My dad died on march 2 2015 I found out right when I woke up. I got a call from my half-sister's mom saying that he had a heart attack. Before this happened he was continually in and out of the hospital. He had a bad smoking habit. When I was 2 he moved out. Sense then I've visited him every other weekend. Now I'm 11 and my grandfather died plus I moved into a new house and school district. Currently going through depression and anxiety. Taking meds daily and having insulin resistance problems. So monthly doctors appointments. That's my life so far...
