After seeing LeBron play game one. I could just tell that this is the final turning point of his career. He's no longer the GUY who can take over and control the pace of the game. Choosing to facilitate and get the other guys going instead of putting his head down and charging towards the rim. And i think that's ok. It's reality and about time. However, he's still statistically better than 90% of NBA players. Having a 3rd/2nd altering guy who can be an elite veteran playmaker and get you a few good possessions in quarters. Is something every other contender would die for. Idk just some thoughts.
Don't blame Lebron for the loss. The team is poorly constructed because he traded away Lonzo (unfortunately injured a lot), Randle, Ingram, Josh Hart. Those guys would be fine players now and two borderline all stars. Lebron chooses the Lakers and Jennie Buss' bad management. Lebron is horrendous off ball on both sides. Just watch the defense he’s played in this series. He’s so bad at that block. And offensively he can’t take Jamal Murray one on one
Please stop saying that. He is NOT one of the smartest players in basketball. That is another media narrative. And if people would stop listening to the media when they're sniffing his jock, and just use your own eyes and brain, you would see that he is not as smart as they say he is.
Ever since I started actually watching the games, LeBron went from t-1 all time for me (based off ridiculous media statements) to N/A. I can't rank someone who's clearly immensely talented but is a terrible leader, barks at the refs all game, & complains far far more than he hustles anymore. He's a terrible face of the game & a big reason why NBA ratings suck. Just like Embiid is a terrible ambassador of the game too.
You are seeing age 39 LeBron. Go back and watch him from '05 to '15. People have forgotten how great he was and think he was always this version of himself. I still have him behind MJ, but he's next. Also, despite the ratings, NBA views and revenue are at an all time high.
Bro, if that was Draymond, he’d be on his way to jail in handcuffs straight there there no mercy! because the Sixers need embed and the season is over without him, he is free to go
Yeah, but only cause Draymond got away so many times in the past now he's spending the rest of his career under a magnifying glass. And after being overprotected as he was for years, that's far from making up for his actions. Eventually, Embid will end up in the same situation if he keeps going down that road...
Big magic fan. It’s so cool you were there. I’ve been going to magic games for ten years and this was by far the most fun one. I’ve never seen our crowd like that. Do you live in Orlando?
LeBron was legitimately holding back tears when he said that. Childish reaction to being soundly beaten in a game of sport. A man speaks up and owns it when he's been bad. Not fight back tears like a 6 year old.
The way Lebron conduct himself is not looking good. I would be really mad if I was Lakers Fan. He made Millions if not Billions because of Fans. And he gives that... Nah
Emiid is a chump. He wasn't protecting himself. If he was Embiid would have pushed him away and moved his own legs. But instead, Embiid clearly grabbed the legs and tried to pull him down.
It's just basketball? It's the reason you make your fame and money dude. The fans! You think you would get paid on your talents if there was no fans? You forget about us, you should fight for us!
Very disappointed in this clickbait title Tucker. Lebron didn't quit. He said "It's just basketball" in regards to his teammates mindset. Of course there's gonna be pressure on them, but it's just basketball, it's not like their gonna die if they get eliminated.
Diangelo Russell should be ashamed of himself tbh, and so should the other lakers players who have been playing like shit. Especially Reaves and Hachimura. AD & Lebron have been playing great.
Embiid did explain: He said he was protecting himself from being stepped on. Except he pulled Robinson towards him. And then went on to say how the Sixers can play physical also. He got frustrated and legit tried to hurt Robinson, which he may have done. I understand it's incredibly difficult to suspect a player in a crucial playoff game, but he 100% should have been ejected - and suspended for a few games (the suspension could have been carried over to next season, which would be fair).
Between Lebrons “its just basketball”, Hams “i dont know what to do”( when talking about Jokic), and DLO eating during the huddle?! Yea this team is cooked bro
"It's just basketball" that made you a zillionaire, and "it's just basketball" that, when you lose, many lives are dramatically affected economically - they lose their jobs, their income, and their lives can be significantly altered.
What is happening is proving Lebron should've never been in the talk of who's the greatest. The best players put games away. The fact is even in the years he won the championship, those teams could've possibly won without him. He just keep getting credit for all of the success around him.
I used to think some team would draft Bronny to get Lebron, but I’m not so sure anymore. Lebron is looking less desirable than at any other point in his career.
NBA needs to stop protecting embiid and eject him for that!!! It's clear they want him playing for the series to be competitive and keep viewership up, whilst trying to make him the face of the league when it should be jokic (that's why jokic didnt win the MVP last year - Giannis deserved it as well)
Joel Embidd should have been ejected. If not, now he needs to be suspended for the next game. What is this league doing? Are they waiting for someone to end up with a shattered ankle because full grown men cannot handle defeat?
I'm not even sorry for the lakers... they did this to themselves.. you never want to give high contracts to players ever!! Until they've one you at least two ring(ego are high in there first ring demanding a big contract), have a great attitude of basketball and teammates, and to improve his team as a whole and how he can be better, his lifestyle outside of basketball, not causing problems with the coach in the press. (exp: Curry, Kawhi, soon Jokic too) scouts don't really see a players mindset.. it's sad.
Lebron said that because he knows he has been defeated and he doesn't have the skills to win. So later in his podcast, and in retirement he can say he only played that long just to help the young guys.
Let the man play with Bronny for a year. He's earned it.Nuggets are just the better team. Lakers have zero room for error - and that's just not realistic. Nuggets are the better team, and Jokic is that guy - like LeBron used to be.
LeBron, please, just retire already. By going away he would be doing his fans and haters alike a service. Adam Silver and the sports media could also begin their recovery process from their delusions of grandeur.
Lebron is 100% eyeing up real estate in Philly - still in their championship window - he will have an MVP-level team mate (none in LA) - young all star guard (none in LA) - S tier coach (Darwin Ham 😂) - massive cap space (Lakers are in cap hell) - has more first round picks - there is no Jokic in the East 💀

You realize he was saying that for his team to not to feel the pressure of the moment . 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
I hadn’t even thought about Draymond doing that to Mitchell Robinson. Dude would have been sent to Taiwan immediately.
It's a bad example though, cuz Draymond has ALOT of history of this kinda shenanigans. Embiid doesn't as much.
No he wouldn’t 😂
"Its Just Basketball" - LeSoft James 🤷♂️
“Lebron Quit” …..a few moments later……..30/5/4 with 3 steals and a block in a win. 🙄
But he quit? Nah our team was playin terrible. Yes he had a turnover issue, but the illogical hate when he’s deadass hoopin is crazy to me. No one brings up D’LO struggling, the vINCENT RUI FUCKIN HACHIMURA. The off ball movement was bad, the rebounding/boxing out effort was bad, the inability to hit AD on high pick n rolls, or a mismatch seal down low was bad and the inability to cut on drives was HORRENDOUS. But of course it’s always bron fault no matter what. I’m not even a big lebron fan, but he deadass was givin us da best chance he could n mfs will still hate
As a leader, you can never put on some kind of face like this so I keep trying to tell everybody this dude is not the greatest of all time because he always has quit in them regardless how the series is going as a leader you don’t quit
You apart of the modern day fan problem . How did Lebron quit. Did u even watch the post game conference? Lebron was asked about how he feels about the team by a reporter and said it’s just basketball alluding to the fact that. Yes it’s the playoffs and there is pressure but it’s all just basketball
During the regular session everyone cries and bitches that the game is too soft no physicality, then as soon as the playoff start players should be suspended and ejected for playing a little rough make up your danm mind. This is ridiculous.
Best video you’ve made in a bit. (Not that the others have been bad but this one really hit) good recap for a crazy day
The cope is real. “It’s just basketball”
It’s not the roster - it’s LeBron James!
He could have kept chasing in somewhere like 76ers or Grizzles, but he came for the Hollywood fame while constantly stating he wants to be the greatest of all time.
Bro definitely quit nbs
Lepunk, I’m jk.
I would be depressed too, they keep getting beat on by the same team
Liked this style, wouldn’t mind this one of these every week
Eventually, Embid will end up in the same situation if he keeps going down that road...
he's a quitter and been a quitter, ppl mad a dlo but he's just following bron's lead
LeBron James join Denver next season 😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅😂
The "just basketball" comment locked Lebron in at 2nd in the GOAT ranking for me
Big magic fan.
Nah
I like these day review vids
Y’all literally manipulating that comment so much, he was literally talking about everyone else. Plus he’s 39 so there ain’t much he can’t do.
“It’s just basketball” is one of the softest things I’ve heard a player say after a playoff loss.
The " its just basketball" was a passive aggressive shot at Robert Horry😂 Horry kinda roasted him😂😂😂
How can the Lakers just let him say that. That guy is lowering the standards in LA
As if the corruption in the NBA head office would allow Embiid to get ejected and the series effectively be over.
Lebron after saying "its just basketball" and then immediately looking to AD for backup is hilarious 😂😂
Ad looked pissed when he heard that 😂
When Lebron is winning it’s the most important thing in the world and when he loses it’s just basketball
At stats, "Embiid" has more flagrant than "Draymond" with "less game" too.. That surprise me the most.
I changed it when he said curry is randomly winning awards... The definition of the clutch award........???????
Lebron's saying "It's just basketball" has a very John C. Reilly delivery to it.
I can’t wait until leflop retires. After one game “it’s not fair they got too many foul calls” next game “it’s just basketball” 🤮
And they keep trying to compare this dude to Jordan!🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤣😭🤣
This is why LeBron can never be considered the GOAT. He has to have elite talent around him to win
20-30 yo Lebron would beat the crap out of this husk for saying that. Hell, Kobe and MJ would have a field day with him.
It’s not the roster. It’s the style of play… Lebron’s style of play he forces the team to play will not beat high IQ teams….
AD looked rightfully pissed when
Lebum said “its just basketball”. Damn.😂
Disgusting act by Embid and the ref that sat there and watched and did nothing.
Joel Embiid continues to be the most unlikable guy in the league
Embiid was lucky he pull that off in Philly. Such dirty plays easily would ignite a rumble.
It's clear they want him playing for the series to be competitive and keep viewership up, whilst trying to make him the face of the league when it should be jokic (that's why jokic didnt win the MVP last year - Giannis deserved it as well)
Embiid is trash man, letting him continue to play after something like that is disgusting
In the last 2 years, the Lakers have been a play-in team.
Hope when the season is mercifully over, Coach Ham is headed for the exit.
You can expect your team to show up fir you when you throw them under the bus every time they lose.🤷🏽♂️🧹 real leaders don't do that
Joel Embidd should have been ejected.
(exp: Curry, Kawhi, soon Jokic too) scouts don't really see a players mindset.. it's sad.
Kings draft Bronny at 13, Lebron ends his career where it started...Sacramento
Lebron said that because he knows he has been defeated and he doesn't have the skills to win. So later in his podcast, and in retirement he can say he only played that long just to help the young guys.
insinuating that robinson was in the boot because of the flagrant is disingenuous
Let the man play with Bronny for a year. He's earned it.Nuggets are just the better team. Lakers have zero room for error - and that's just not realistic. Nuggets are the better team, and Jokic is that guy - like LeBron used to be.
They should suspend embiid for two games tbh
LeBron, please, just retire already. By going away he would be doing his fans and haters alike a service. Adam Silver and the sports media could also begin their recovery process from their delusions of grandeur.
If LeBron was winning he’d be saying “This is everything”
Poor Anthony Davis. All he really needs is Lebron to be replaced by someone good.
LeBron ready to retire, forget just quitting on the season
Lebron is 100% eyeing up real estate in Philly
- still in their championship window
- he will have an MVP-level team mate (none in LA)
- young all star guard (none in LA)
- S tier coach (Darwin Ham 😂)
- massive cap space (Lakers are in cap hell)
- has more first round picks
- there is no Jokic in the East 💀
I really hope he does. Because Embiid is the New Age Lebron, whining, flopping, and crying.
This title didn't age well...
