“The risk does not outweigh the reward” 🗣️👂✍️
What platform do you trade options on?
Do you not trade on RH because of fulfillment ?
Think or Swim
I don't like the fact I cant get a representative on the phone if theirs an issue.
I like it! Thanks Peter!
No problem! Thanks for the comment.
Thanks for the heads up 👍🇺🇸
Welcome! Thank you for the support
So how much did you risk for the $10k upside (how much did you spend on CSPs)?
$4 strike put expiring May 17 asking price $0.19/contract / bid price $0.17/contract looking at my etrade tonight. In order to generate $10,000 premium he'll need to sell 541 contracts at $0.19 (this is based on my etrade after fee - this trade in etrade will cost me $270.50). If he is forced to buy AMC shares at $4 X 541 X 100 (in option 1 contract = 100 stock shares) he has to spend $216,400 to buy 54,100 shares at $4. Hs is risking $216,400 to make $10,000 or about 4.6%. Brokerage will require about that amount in cash or more. For selling cash secure put most traders like to do this on stocks they wouldn't mind owning long term. I get the idea, but don't agree with this AMC trade. Stocks like AMC and GME does stuff that no other stocks do. They make impossible moves that defy all logics. I get the probability, but why peak one stock that repeatedly defied those kinds of odds in past? At least he's rich, I guess. For trade like this you'd def want to close your position if you're in green before expiration. It's tempting trade though. Might have order saved in case. Smaller size.
$150k But I am not really risking all of it because at worst I would be forced to buy $150k shares at $50
It's funny because I also sold a bunch of contacts on AMC today Carvana stock has good implied volatility!😂😂
I sold AMC at 10.50 made 15k, I was thinking about selling the puts also.
Gee, how many put did you sell? I was thinking on gme, but just for fun bought only 2 calls for 12.5 on amc for end of may)) and yeah, i know about theta, but I thought that I’m ok to loose 500$ but i wanna be in just in case it goes crazy and rockets to the moon 😂)) I want my secondary role in a next movie 🤣
you need 100 shares to be able to do that correct?
You can sell Cash Secured Puts. You just need enough cash to use it as collateral. In this case you don't need to own 100 shares per contract sold
Can we get an update what did you do its under $5
Here you are!

@@TradersHelpingTraders Thank you for the reply.
Thanks I watched the vid again to make sure I saw the details.Wish I took this with you. Seems like a free 10k. good job that was a good trade by you.
why not GME? you would need to buy a lot of quantities for $150k since it's a $4 stock
I could have but I felt that AMC was the better move since it was sitting on a support block at the time.
This is the definition of pennies in front of a steamroller, not for the faint of heart. Best of luck though, hope it works out.
you're about to get wrecked noob
Don't trade memes don't teach people to do this it's just bad teach real stock's
I wouldn't suggest new traders do take this risk. However, this is why I go in detail on why I personally am taking the trade and break down my personal risk vs reward. I do appreciate that you're looking out for new traders. This is why we are always explaining our trades so in depth. At the end of the day you should always do your own research; Thanks for the comment and support it means a lot to us.
Thanks great job. 😊
Thanks Kev! Hope you’re well
